I think Al Saunders is going to be let go regardless of who the head coach is. I haven't heard any players talking about how they wanted to keep him and to be quite honest I would be shocked if the new coach is picked is no Mora or Williams

From an interview with JC...

Jason Reid chatted up Jason Campbell and filed this item:

Quarterback Jason Campbell is among many Redskins players eager to learn who will be the team's next head coach. If the job goes to assistant head coach-defense Gregg Williams, Campbell hopes Williams will retain the offensive coaching staff.

"I feel we have great continuity on our team and our staff," Campbell said.

Campbell is especially supportive of play caller Al Saunders. The team's associate head coach-offense, Saunders "is a great coach," Campbell said. "He does a good job with the things that we do. We're improving in a lot of areas and coming a long ways ... as far as offensively. It's an opportunity for us to continue to grow, but it all comes down to who's the head coach."

Although Campbell still is rehabilitating after dislocating his left kneecap and spraining his medial collateral ligament Dec. 6 against the Chicago Bears, he said he's making good progress and his knee should be at full strength soon.

"I'm 85 to 90 percent," he said. "At the same time, you still have to continue to rehab until you get all the strength back. You don't want to go home for the break and not be fully recovered."

That's great to hear from Jason, and he's right, Al is a great coach. I'm not sure why some here think Al will leave or will be fired. I don't believe, to date, Snyder has interviewed any offensive coaches.

Remember, Gibbs and Saunders come from the same coaching tree, and I have to think Gibbs really expressed the importance of continuity to Snyder, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Since high school, JC has had to learn 9 offensive systems. Gibbs personally hand selected JC and I can't believe anyone in the organization, especially Gibbs, would want JC to have to learn a whole new system.

Some here keep saying Saunders 700 page playbook is too much for JC to pick up. I strongly disagree. Jason is extremely bright, learned a new system all 4 years in college, and was successful with it. With regard to Al's playbook, Jason and Cooley explained earlier this year that it's not 700 different plays. 15-20 pages would cover the same play from slightly different formations or shifts. Jason has all the intangibles and will be brilliant in this system.

Ypu started the thread ... so you should be able to stay on topic.

Your reasoning and grammar are both poor at best. All of your threads are uneducated and make no sense.

His comments are about your post, but you took it personal.

DON"T... He didn't take the time to point out the poor reasoning (we've been over the grammar thing, you said you were working on it. DON'T stop). Take the constructive criticism and run with it. CPallDAY08's criticism wasn't constructive so blow it off. Some of your threads really DON'T make any sense but some do. Maybe none of them made sense to him, then you have to ask, why did he read ALL of them :?:

I could have PM'd this to por-tiz2skins but a lot of posters jump on his grammar and add nothing to the thread topic. As much as por-tiz2skins post if a member can't figure out what he's trying to say by now the issue might be with said member and not por-tiz. You might get a headache at first and want to post something to inflict a little pain on him... DON'T (start a thread in the proper forum but keep threads on topic.

No matter what some may say, por-tiz2skins can get a discussion started. Most are football related although they might come out of left field this is a message board....

Can we get back on stay on topic now?

Thanks
Any way!-I don't believe Greg is the right perfect excellent choice for us.I just want a coach who has shown the ability to contrast with the QB and thats why I want Mora.Because,of his....relations with the young QB's to make them feel comfortable and talk to in the side lines in what to focus on.

You want a HC who can CONTRAST with a QB?? :hmm: Why? Do you know the definition of contrast? I want a HC who can help mold a young QB into a leader.
