We did not beat the Cowboys.
We beat Brad Johnson and company.
Sure, we had a nice showing against a Cowboys team playing for nothing and featuring backups but we still have a LOT to prove.
That is all.
If we didn't beat the cowboys, what team did we beat? As far as I know Brad Johnson doesn't have a team named after him. Romo played over half of the game and still they didn't get anything done. So what T.O. wasn't in the game? We are missing quite a few of our "starters" and most will not be back for the playoffs. We beat the players that Dallas had on the field which was most of their starters. Don't worry. We will prove that this win was no fluke when we play them in 2 weeks.

Let's be clear on this:
Dallas may not have cared much whether they won or lost this game, but I GUARANTEE YOU they DID NOT intend to get the SNOT beat out of themselves. This loss hurts, and it will undermine their confidence. Additionally, TO will now be convinced that he is absolutely the most important player on the team, and cannot help but say something completely stupid. This loss carries implications for the next time these teams meet... and none of them are good for Dallas.
The reality is, their starters did play, and stunk up the joint... as they have for the last 3 games.

Not to mention that they were playing to fulfill several franchise records, of which they only set two. Romo completed more passes then any other Pie for a season, and they only gained 1 yard rushing. I don't think they wanted that second one. They were 0-8 on third downs, and Portis became the only RB to gain 100 yards on them all season.
