I still haven't seen this confirmed.

It would be best if there is no formal announcement... just run onto the field in the 21 uni, Clinton. Just do it.

Well if CP does put on #21, hopefully he'll get in the end zone in it...

Imagine the emotion of that... I have chills just writing/thinking about it.

So sad for something like this to happen before the media tried to learn about him. It was like the media in Ashburn was scared of him, and misunderstood him. But hearing from people like Casey Husband, Joe Theisman, Sean's neighbors, and just about everyone who knew him, the guy was a really good person who loved family, football, and was a changing person.

The more I learn about him, the more sad I become. We lost a great one...simply one of the best.
SPIT HAPPENS!!

I guess Portis has decided against wearing #21, after some consideration.

I think the fans want to see Portis wear #21 but I'm not convinced the family and friends of Sean Taylor want to see those highlights on every television station and newspaper. I know the gesture has the best of intentions but the best laid plans of mice and men sometimes go awry.
My 2 cents

I support his decision on backing away from wearing it. Taylor wore #26 in Miami, I don't know if the jersey #'s mean anything from college to pro's. We lost a good man, growing into a great man. It's great to see that everyone is paying him tribute.
#21 (36) This IS and will always be the High watermark where all new DB's are measured.
