I enjoy his antics. he has the ability to put the team on his back and make a push to the playoffs if the o-line can get on the same page and healthy. I bet Portis goes for 100 from here on out. He is finally healthy and joe and al are going to ride him for the remainder.

It is good to see he has his swagger back and with this confidence i look for a improved play from not just choo choo but also the o-line and JC. When the running game is producing, it makes everybody better especially a young qb. Look for jc to turn it up a notch as well.

Please don't jump on me for my comments but w/out reading anything you guys have typed, I say good for CP. Reason? Even though I was a true hater of him doing the costume things in '05, we made the playoffs that year. So, all I'm saying is that since it worked than, maybe it will work this year?

Like I said, I don't like the costume thing but if its a superstitious *spelling* thing and we make the playoffs with him doing it, just let him do it and leave him alone. Thanks!!

I don't see how this can be a negative. With the little bit of swagger that 196 yds of rushing by our #1 back brings, he's trying to share his morale with the team. Whether it had an impact or it was coincidental in '05 is debatable. It DOES, however, bring those nastalgic high morale thoughts back and could give the team the spark it needs to do it in the 2nd half, AGAIN. It could have zero effect and just be another wasted day's effort. Regardless, there's no way that anyone can say this definitely HURTS the 'skins. Anyone who does is just being pessimistic.

I, for one, am glad that there's a little swagger. I don't care who we've beat, who we've lost to, 5-3, at this point, has us in the running for a Wild Card berth. Is it a lock? No way, but I'm sure in '05 it wasn't a lock, either. Any given Sunday........

What a useless piece of propagandist rhetoric that is.

7th in the league with ONE 100 yard rushing game. That might indicate that teams are winning with passing offenses. According to NFL.com, every team with a winning record is in the top half of the league in passing except the Giants and the Redskins.

On the other hand, Minnesota and Oakland are in the top five in rushing.
Does anyone other than me see a glaring problem here?

We are 5-3 I don't see a problem. I only see a problem if you cannot run the ball effectively and still run the majority of the time. I believe you still need to run the ball in this league....see the first Super Bowl til present day. You also have to take into account the DEFENSE. Can't blame winning and losing only on offensive factors.

If we can run the ball well we should be fine. I'll let those pass only teams get caught up in the playoffs. I still believe physical prevails over finesse.

I don't see his dressing up as negative or positive when it somes to team morale. Although, if I was in the locker room, and thought Clinton was having a mediocre season, and saw him dressed like a fool at a press conference, I might think he should shut up, work out, and maybe leave his talking out on the field.

That's all I'm saying.
