Fine. This is the year the Redskins will defeat Ttit twice, win in the Meadowlands, stop the best running back in the league this season, win home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, and convince the commish to hold this year's SuperBowl at FedEx Field in honor of the team's achievements.

Now you're talking! I'm still not conceding the 3 we lost. We really beat the Pack and Giants and the Pats should have to forfeit the year for cheating. We need to file a petition with the commish to right that.

yup. The league should ban Brady, a QB is only allowed 1 hot girlfriend per season... He had two or three last season... Not fair.

Don't be ridiculous, the Commish would never move the Super Bowl this late into the year.

It's Wednesday now and I hope the people that were negative through the first part of the week are feeling better now. We all have something to be excited about and that is we are gonna crush the eagles on Sunday!!!!!!! I can already see it happening in my own mind...how about you?

I'll take another ugly OT win! I just don't know if my heart can take it. Blow out win, ugly win, lucky win, or even a win the refs give us (certainly we've had our share taken from us). I don't care as long as it is a win. That is certainly better than playing well and losing!

I haven't seen anyone giving props to CP yet.

Come on guys he had a great game. Portis rushed for 196 yards on 36 carries, a 5.4 yards-per-carry average, and one touchdown in the Nov. 4 game against the Jets.

Thats outstanding! Our O-line had a big game, with a total of 296 rushing yards. Now, if only we can equal that success in the passing game to go along with it, we will be much more successful.

He hasn't had a good average after our first game. In large part due to the line. This to me screams of "O-line Gellin". Which can be big in the next couple of games. Against Pilthy and Pukes.

As it says on redskins.com, Cooley has had a big game, Portis has had a big game, and Campbell has had a big game game against Detroit.

If we can just get it all in one game, we could be a force.
I firmly believe the Patriots are the antichrist.

Time to drizzle on this parade. One good rushing game against the 27th ranked defense does not a trend make. If this becomes a pattern over the next few weeks we can start to get excited. The true tests of whether or not the offensive line and rushing game are on-track are coming up against the Redskins NFC East opponents.

The positive: The Redskins don't need 300 yards rushing per game to be successful. Any combination of 400 yards of total offense should be sufficient to win games, if the defense returns to form.

Im sorry I thought this was the place we were saying "positive things about the skins". Yes, 196 yards is what a good back should put up against a poor rush defense. However, thats exactly the good part about it, after his injury season last year and good first game, and nothing sense. And we have faced other poor rush D's. Then he put up these numbers. Thats great. There are plenty here and in the media that even against the 27th ranked rush D, would not have guessed Portis would have done that. In fact most here was saying how he's not his old self. Which I still think he's not, but that game showed improvement and many would not have expected him to even have over 100 yards much less 196.

I agree we don't have to have that kind of running game to win, which is why I stated. "Cooley has had a big game, Portis has had a big game, and Campbell has had a big game game against Detroit" If we can just get it all in one game, we could be a force.

If we could get 150 yards form our WRs, we should be able to get 100 from Cooley, something like 50 from Sellers, and 100 from Portis. We would be better than a 5-3 team.

Portis went 12 consecutive games without rushing for 100 yards. Of course no one would have guessed he would have that type of performance last Sunday.

I predict that Portis will have at least 5 100yd rushing days over the next 8 games.

We did what we were supposed to do. We won. Doesn't matter how we won, a W is a W.

The Jets came out playing with nothing to lose. They got an early touchdown, and started with all the momentum at home. They built an early 14-point lead, but we didn't quit.

Even though we couldn't get in the endzone, and it seemed like it would take us all day to catch up. The team kept at it.

The defense fought it's guts out. It didn't seem like it during the game, but they really did, by only allowing 3 points in the second half. Smoot was riled up and the defenders were punishing everyone that touched the ball. Anyone remember the "alligator arms" play where the Jets' reciever dropped a sure first down cause he saw Taylor coming?

The offense Put up over 400 yards, and even though it would've been nicer if those drives turned into touchdowns, it proved that 3 points add up.

I think we really needed this game. Anyone's confidence would be shaken by such a horrific loss as the Patriots game.

Now we face a team we've beaten before. The running game clicked into place last week. If the passing game clicks for us this week, and we can sustain it through the rest of season, I gotta believe we'll be tough to beat.

 How's that for positive!
