What does he care. As long as he is not a total moron he never has to work another day in his life, all for playing a *game*. A game many of us played for free in our youth.

Pretty sweet deal for just being able to run, jump and catch.

Meanwhile the rest of us get up and go to *work* every day to support ourselves and our families, making as much in a few YEARS as he does on ONE SUNDAY.

If memory serves, his signing bonus was about 10 million. To put it in perspective, if you make 50K per year it would take you 200 years to equal 10 mil. and that does not even take into account inflation and opportunity cost which would likely make it more like 1000 years to get even, if not longer.

Don't you dare feel "sorry" for BL.

agreed, wormer.

if i had 10 million duckies to work with, my construction company would be unstopable.

i've been around residential construction ALL of my life(thnx dad) and dare to say, not one person in the nfl really works hard enough for all that dough.

They work a lot harder than the owners do! I'd rather the players get some of that money the owners are pulling down.

We've all chosen our destiny, don't hat on them because theirs is more lucrative than ours....

I've had been up for this underdog for a while, but after this fiasco, I feel we need to start looking ahead. In his situatiation being the odd man out, one would think he'd be doing everything it takes to win back the coaches, not because it's right, but because it's what one has to do in this situation. Missing a meeting, this just seems like he's not putting the effort. If a third string QB who went to the superbowl, got demoted and hatted on big time, makes it to the meeting.
