it was in 2003, under the illustrious leader steve spurrier (though we did have the #1 ranked offense at that point in the season... shows how much early season stats mean). brady threw 3 INTs. ifeanyi ohalate knocked down a brady attempt on 4th down to seal the game.
eerily familiar-- the skins had a 17 point second half lead (20-3) and let it dwindle down to 20-17 with 2 minutes left, thus requiring the 4th down stop.
The last minute stop was only necessary because the zebras tried to screw us once again. Laveranues Coles made a 1st down catch about 5 yards from the sidelines, made three or four steps in bounds and then had the ball come out of his hands as he hit the ground out of bounds.
The refs ruled it a sideline catch which requires that the receiver maintain possession even after going out of bounds. The problem was that it was not a sideline catch. it wasn't like he was struggling to get his feet down in bounds. He ran out of bounds after making the catch. It was a totally bogus call that we managed to overcome anyway.

yeah, i remember that play...we picked up a 1st down on that throw to the left to coles, but got called for a false start or holding or some crud. so we ran the same play again and it worked again, and the refs completely blew the call. i don't think any of the refs' incompetence infuriates me more than the times when it's blatantly clear that they literally don't understand the rules, or the specific applications of them. it's one thing to miss a call, but when it's because you are basing it on the wrong application of a rule, you can't even claim to be attempting to do your job!
i'm just saying it's eerie that we had that big lead and didn't score again while it slowly eroded.

That makes one hell of a lot of sense. Quote a homosexual author to reiterate the statements of two heterosexuals discussing pizza toppings and attractive women.
Actually there isn't a great deal of evidence, other than how one might interpret the sonnets, to suggest he was homosexual. There are those who believe the sonnets were commissioned by a wealthy family to convince their son of his "greatness" via flattery so he would not marry below his station. Which isn't to say it's false but it's speculative, at best.

Whoa, I wouldn't go taht far, "los has done pretty good with tackling, most of his probs were positioning, but if you look back some of his hits are Sean Tayloresque... Not to mention he actually caught one INT, LoL, I just watched that game again on DVR, the whole sidelines were saying "he actually caughtone!" you don't have to hear it you can read their lips. If that team (on Lions game) shows up, I can see the pats losing and losing big.
