No denying Halls talent. He is under contract though so I dont see how this is even a topic.
It is a topic because the member who started this discussion has no regard for such trifling things as contracts, salary cap limits, dead cap concerns, draft pick issues, team needs, etc. You know, all of those things General Managers pay attention to.

No chance that you could try and grasp the concept of leaving the moderating to others and just concentrating on what you post?
But hey, thanks for quoting it and giving me two instances to edit. Makes a ton of sense.
For the last time, leave the moderating to the moderators.

Deangelo Hall I would love to have but fat chance Atlanta would even let him go. That being said I feel the Skins need to go after a young lock down corner in the draft. It is very hard to find a lock down corner though. They are so hard to find and cost so much to keep as well. I can only think of a few lock down corners in the league. Champ Bailey, Chris Mcalister(he is older now though), and Deangelo Hall and the only three true lock down corners I can think of right now. Shawn Springs was actually a lock down corner in his prime and is still pretty good. So my wishlist for next years draft is a young cornerback and Defensive end. Also another stud outside linebacker.

Chad Johnson always owns Deangelo Hall, how are you saying he's a lockdown corner?
I always thought he was a me first, gambling corner that got beaten a lot more than rewarded...
I'd definitely go with drafting one rather than resort to Hall.

Thats true.
But I guess he needs some safety support and we have that I mean falcons D has been horrible for a long time.

More brilliant hypotheses... obviously an undrafted CB will be better than Hall... so what if Hall was drafted
eighth overall.. obviously ALL undrafted CBs are actually better than he is.
... it's a little known fact that EVERY CB playing in college right now is actually much better than any of the guys playing in the NFL.
So obviously any team would be better off drafting a CB than getting an established top tier guy.
Mind you, at least if you use 'rediculous' reasons to put Hall out of the running, you will subsequently also end the completely 'rediculous' talk about him being available when he's still under contract.

If, and this is a big if, Hall is a man of character, I would not mind to have him with us next season AT ALL. We will need youth and talent at that position in the future.

Hey the way Rogers played yesterday, we may not need to go after another corner.
Just another helpful advice for him, if he could watch how Charles Woodson presses the reciever it would be helpful. Carlos Rogers has the same physical attributes that Charles Woodson has. Charles Woodsen is the picture perfect physical corner that everyone forgot about. Take some time and watch him go he is very good, and what a corner back is all about, speed, physicality, smarts, guts and experience. He is by far the best press corner in this league. The rest like Champ, Deangelo, and Bly are very good cover corners they just cant press like Charles Woodson. Watch Woodson guys you will see what a real corner is all about. It is a defensive joy to watch. Anyhow keep up the good work Rogers last week was very good.

Maybe we don't need Hall if Rogers can play like that all season lol ,but again its one great game he did so if he does good like that than he might not be a 1st round bust any way/

I think apologies are definitely in order here, but they should go in the opposite direction of what you expected, or did you mean that he should say your analysis was sorry?
