Yes we are 2-1 and that is a positive. I am over the loss nothing you can do about it but learn and hopefully the changes that are necessary are made.

I think it made us an better team indeed but I think we need to start Heyer at RG and just help Fabani alot to get better.Cause we didn't give JC enough time at all.HEROHAMO wrote:Hey its over already. The only thing I want to see is that our team learns from the mistakes and the approach we took in the second half. We took off with a fourteen point lead by half time so it wasnt half bad, If we continue to go for the kill I think we will be ok. Just have to approach the second half like we did the first half.

If we had held on to win, the players would have treated this bye week as an extended vacation and the entire season would have derailed. As it is, we lost a tough game to a divisional opponent that could NOT afford to lose. For the Giants, this was a must-win game. They played a great game and got a great win. (That everyone is saying that is a compliment to the Skins.) And frankly, you don't learn much about yourself as a team by winning. Every team has to go through adversity in order to grow and improve and GET HUNGRY.
In the second half, the plays were there to be made. The execution--the focus--was gone. Dropped passes, missed assignments, missed tackles, overthrown balls, and a fumble--those are the things that killed us. The players know it and when they break down the game film they'll be kicking themselves. Even with terrible execution on both sides of the ball, down the stretch BOTH the defense and the offense made the plays they needed to make to put the team in a position to come back and tie it up. If Betts follows his block on that 2nd down, he's in. If Campbell hits Moss on that play-action bomb--which he will, one of these weeks (it's the last weapon we're missing and the most potent one)--a field goal wins the game. But thank God we didn't win. Because this team needs to stay hungry and get angry and put it together for an entire game, week after week.

I like the trend. I've always wanted to be a genius. . .and this is giving me hope for the future.
It's beginning to look as though if you can spell "genius", or copy and paste it from someone else who spelled it correctly, you qualify.
The only way to lower the bar that I can see is to qualify everyone who is able to succesfully login.
