Mad-hatted on, maybe, but hatted on?
Means people are now getting jealous and say we are going to be a bad team.

I do not care what other teams say about us. I do not care what the media says about us. We have not done anything to earn anyone's respect, so we cannot complain. I don't respect any of last year's teams with losing records. Do you?
The Redskins must prove to everyone that they are a good team. That means that they have to start winning -- consistently -- against good teams -- and on the road. Sunday we beat a bad team -- barely -- at home. I'll take the win, but it is way to early to be complaining about a lack of respect.

As i've seen numerous times, we're going to have our hands full the 2nd half of the season. We need to run crazy this first half because the end it going to be an uphill battle.

Now let me get this straight - before the game, Miami was going to be a test for us because they were a top rated defense (in 2006) against both the running game and against the pass. Now that we have played them and won they are suddenly not a very good defense
The Eagles lost that game from what I saw - the Packers are not as good defensively as Miami - Going to be an interesting game on Monday and we have a decent chance - I will also be watching the girls playing in Miami on Sunday - the Gints and Pukes had no defense last Sunday.

Photoshop MY BUTT! Those are honest to goodness candids, taken just as you were leaving the Ravens game at home against Pittsburgh last year... game! (I hired a guy who usually works for the Patriots...)
Fear is a healthy thing, BTW...

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think we'll all pass on that one. Photoshop can work wonders, but even it has its limits!!

It's moot, anyway... my arms aren't quite long enough.

Blasphemy! The last time I was in the general vicinity of said stadium I spit on it, I grew up in Cleveland, I still feel bad for the Browns. I wouldn't pay to watch either one of those teams unless the Redskins were playing them.

I imagine that it could have been a cup that looked like you... (not my intention to be cuppist. I mean, just look at a sleeve of dixiecups, and tell me you can tell one from the other....) I withdraw my blaspheme, sir...
On the other hand, I have this informant... a very hot little french fry box... who swears that is your blush...

Yup, you got it. The Dolphins were a 6-10 team last year that finished with a whimper. Now they have a new coach who has never coached in the NFL before, and who played his first game on the road. Sunday's game was a game that we were supposed to win -- and supposed to win easily.
I'll take the win just like any ither win -- but let's put things in perspective. On Sunday a 5-11 team beat a 6-10 team. Nothing to get excited about. The league is not supposed to start respecting the Redskins after a game like that. I am still hopeful, but let's be honest: The Redskins still haven't proven anything, and have not done anything to earn the league's respect.

I'm sorry - I thought we were only "favored" to win (by some) by 3.5 points - maybe there were some others who thought we would win "easily", but I, and many others thought it might be a close game given a couple of defensive guys named Taylor and Thomas plus a defense that was "favored" to hinder our offense, being that we looked like we were going to have a tough time running the ball
I believe we had about 200 yards on the ground against last year's top 5 defense against the run
We certainly did not show anything
(aside from a "few" yards rushing !!!) but in today's NFL we managed to win which is something that a bunch of teams have not done yet and 1 team in our division that is favored to be a better team than we are this year has given up 80 points in 2 games.
We are not as good as we look but we seem to be not as bad as we are "rated" by a lot of so called experts - some of whom probably thought we were favored to beat Miami "easily"

The Cowboys offense has looked impressive, but they gave up 20 pts to a rather pathetic Dolphins Offensive which threw 4 ints. I attribute those pics to Trent Green being old, not the quality of the Dallas seconday, who gave up 35 pts to the G-men.
