I have no agenda (not sure if you are talking about me). I have just met people that seem all fine and good at first or should I say as an acquaintance but then once you get to really know them, you find out who they really are. I hear a lot of people saying he was such a great person. Who really knew Benoit? Some can say they knew him but an individual can choose what side they want people to see. Of course, some people can just lose it all of a sudden but to me that seems as though he had something building up inside that would cause them to do that.

I thought talking about the press reporting of the story was topical, the Boss did since he talked about it too. But OK, let's go to a different thread.

Part of the reason why I stopped commenting on the thread.
I wasn't about to get into a philosophical debate based on half-truths, press clippings, innuendo and speculation... which at this point... is all ANYONE has unless they've seen tox reports, were there at the house, or knew the family intimately.
I will only talk about what I know... and say that Benoit entertained me for almost twenty years and I'm appreciative. I'm also very sorry for the families of the wife and child who likely have had to additionally endure a ridiculous number of callous, heartless, and thoughtless comments since it happened. I hope they can move through it quickly and try get on with their lives.
RIP Benoit family

Only thing I can say is: how can you air a 3 hour tribute to someone who had just murdered his wife and kid, before commiting suicide.
The 3 hour show must have been on the prevension of drug use, steroid use or family abuse. Just my thoughts.

It aired before they knew the full story, as far as I can tell. Given Benoit's record as a wrestler and person before the murder / suicide, and given that they didn't know much more than the fact that he had died, I can understand why they aired the tribute.
