if we had kept Ramsey we would be in better position... PR still was not given a fair shot!
Ramsey was done. Any "fair shot" he might have had was wasted by "Ole Ball Coach" when he decided that protecting the quarterback was not an important component of the NFL game. By the time Gibbs came along, it was too late.
Messed that boy up bad. If he's got potential as a back up, the Jets wouldn't have shipped his butt off. Now, don't get me wrong... he may yet turn into something... but, Gibbs (who happens to be better than anybody I know of at getting the most from a journeman QB) apparently didn't think so. He has 3 rings with 3 qb's. I'm going with him.

I'm thinking Gibbs will keep Brunell as the #2 and will begin getting someone else ready to take over ASAP. I'm sure Collins will be released sooner than later.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

We should cut Brunell and Collings immediately. There are any number of vets available for minimum costs who are much better than Brunell and Collins. Trent Green would be a best option, but we can't get him, or, won't. I'm convinced that Gibbs is willing to sacrifice another season to Brunell's incompetence and Saunder to his aging boy. When it comes to QB's, both G and S are nuts. If Campbell falters even to the the level of Brunell's usual level of play for even a game or two, expect disaster.

Let's see. I think they keep one vet backup and train at least one kid. Hollenbach or Palmer? I don't know, although sentiment says Hollenbach. From the time I was seven, I lived about a mile from the U of M campus...saw Dick Shiner and Gary Collins and Tom Brown.
Predictions are worth little compared to actual play. Otherwise, Ralph Guglielmi (Crazy's era and mine), and Gary Beban (look him up), and Heath Shuler would be remebered.
