This is exactly why we need a "qualified" GM here in Washington. I heard an interesting sound bite from Steve Czaban on my way to work this morning. He was talking about our beloved burgundy and gold and it's owner, Daniel Snyder.

He basically said that the only thing that Snyder should be doing is writing checks and calling his staff from some tropical island to see who they drafted with the #6 pick. Be an "out of site" owner that is only seen and heard from when we are hoisting the Lombardi Trophy...

For as much marketing genius and money-making Snyder has done, he has to be smart enough to know that he should have a qualified GM making these personnel decisions. Kent-Cooke did it and look at the glory we received.

That isn't even funny.

   Jake, you nailed it. I wrote this completely off the top of my head. Thought a little Rosenhaus drama, some Broncos trade talk thrown in along with the #6 pick would make for a nice scenario to stir the Skins faithful. Notice how some people were relunctant to dismiss such an outlandish story, with shady credentials? (Reuters???) This just goes to show you how much utter Cr@p we've put up with from the FO. Anyway, it was fun. April Fools!!!

I think it was fairly obvious to most that it had no merit and to think that anybody actually believes that such a scenario was possible even from our FO is laughable.

If anyone really considered this after the first look - they deserve to be considered fools - and not just for April!

Any April Fools joke not actually perpetrated on 4/1 deserves the ridicule in reverse
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
