You think GW has the same opinion of his defensive schemes as Denver's "any (well, mostly any) RB can get 1,500 yards running here" offense?

Well, we're seeing that he ain't all that -- and forget the bag of chips.

I agree with that.

1. Are they really coaching this kid?

2. Are they too concerned with this kid being in a "scheme" and not utilizing his skill and talent?

3. Is this kid really that bad that we are sacrificing getting gashed on the left side each week to the detriment of the entire team because he is that bad?

4. Is this another case of the arrogance of GW?

The more and more they continue to do things like this, the more and more validity they give to Tom Friend's article. It's like when these guys practice, they have to be in the exact perfect spot (given a literal inch or two) or they don't get to play.

We're still playing Holdman because of Williams' ego. He benched Arrington for this guy. Now his ego won't let him see what's happened.
Reminds me of Gibbs and Brunell.

I'll say this; if Rocky doesn't see any playing time at all on defense this year, then I'll buy into the arrogance thing associated with Williams. Even if they won't let Rocky start, he should at least be worked into the rotation, maybe on 3rd down packages. I believe Rocky has more speed than Holdman and has a real nose for the football, just watch him on kick coverages. I live in South Florida and have watched his whole career at Miami. He was a special player there, and in my opinion, is why we went after him in the draft. I know there were other linebackers that are good, but I believe we got a good player in Rocky.

GW runs this defense and from what we have been led to believe he is responsible for who is here and finally for who is playing. IMO he has made some questionable decisions about who he has brought in but I do not think he made a mistake in selecting Rocky and am looking forward to seeing him be a major contributor to our success. This kid is showing a lot of desire and I think he will be very, very good.

This situation kind of reminds me of a situation we had on the other side of the ball - Gibbs did not play Campbell until he felt he was ready and GW is hopefully getting closer to giving Rocky his opportunity too. Also hopefully all those who want to point out GW's mistakes will also give credit where credit is due. Rocky made this team because he has talent BUT he only got that opportunity because GW wanted him here
