Fixed.

Since some people dont mind SI, I had to make it something that everyone could agree on.

All of this coming out of the mouth of a guy who proudly sported a Cowboys avatar. No wonder he was an Ocho Stinko fan. :lowblow:

Well for those of you who think that Gibbs will be welcome here no matter what, let me ask you this; What has he done for us latley?

If it was anyone else he would have been fired by now, but people keep defending him because of what he did 15 years ago. Well thats great, but it gets us nothing now. If you say that it gets us a hall of fame coach who knows what he's doing, I would say you are right, sort of. Yes, we have a hall of fame coach, be he doesn't seem to know what he's doing. His experiense and apparant genious have currently landed us at 3 and 6 which could easily be 1 and 8, with no identity and no real plan for the future, as most of our team is made up of veterans and we have three head coches and a worthless owner all trying to take the team in different directions.

Is latley a person? just kidding but then, I hope this was just some frustration and not a real question?

not bad so far - nothing to really worry us, but then....

now see  most of us had it figured as the problem was he had the wrong QB but you have it pegged as due to his "experiense and apparant genious" :hmm: I tried finding these words to get a better handle on our problem  you might have something here but it also could be contagious so I would be very careful for the next few years.

I'd suggest you study hard because if you don't, as John Kerry has told us you could be sent to Iraq, or wherever we are fighting at that time

thank you for pointing this out though and taking the heat off CLL - for a short time

I would appreciate it if you could get past my poor spelling and maybe respond to what I am saying.

As far as "what has he done for us lately?" Yes, that is a real question.

See my post above. Last year we went to the PLAYOFFS!! We made it past the first round of playoffs. And mid year this same kind of crap was going on. Talk to me at the end of the year. Stop jumping ship on your team because they're on a dry spell.

He came back for starters.... Where would we be without him? At this point I would say "the Danny" would have fired any other Head Coach and would be walking the sidelines himself :!:

He was a HoF coach before he came back and we was ours then so we already had that and he was the 1st to point out the past doesn't get you anything today. How can you say he would be fired when a third of the league has a equal or a worst record than the 3-6 you throw out there mid-season. There are 5 other team with on win more. That's 16 coaches (including Gibbs) that are doing about the same job or worst, should they all be fired?

Didn't he make it to the post-season last year, it was a short stay and it had been so long since we had been there I can understand if you thought the season ended last year before Christmas like in years past, but that wasn't the case. We were 5-4 at this point last year enroute to back-back AFC loses to drop us below .500

For the Record: I didn't visit SI for a long time, but they do carry THN content so someone over there knows a little something, and if Chris got off the Bandwagon, Who's driving?

Yes, last year we made the playoffs, so what. New season, new year, different team. Making it to the second round last year gets us nothing now besides a little hope that this team can pull off a great finish again. But as all the guys on Redskin Report have been saying all along, you just can't use that now, its a different season, different team. The problems a 5-6 Redskins were facing last year are very differernt that the current 3-6 Redskins face now.

All the guys on talking about the Redskins last year when they were 5-6 said they were headed for another 6-10 season or worst.

We know what they say about people when they assume.

You'll never find a quote from me saying that, Ive stated the exact opposite on numerous occasions. I guess there are only certain times we can mention SI.

All I did was heap some more wood on the fire to keep the forum going. Ive always posted articles from SI since Ive been here. I posted pictures from there also. Im happy that I couldnt careless about all the responses aimed at me in this thread. Keep'em coming guys, feel free to take your frustrations out on me however you see fit.

Call me a bandwagon fan, call me a Gibbs hater because those opinions are just as accurate as what comes from SI. (Except what they said about AA  )

I'm sick of hearing that the game has passed Gibbs by. He's a winner and he'll find a way to win. But I think he's going to need a more help in the backfield. Betts ain't Portis.

I'm with Scott - we should all just pack up and wait for next year - that sounds easy - we should just start thinking about who we are going to draft because this is all about next year now according to some here.

please find another site if you want to be so negative - we think we can win these next 7 - that is what it is all about.

This kid could be the second coming (pardon the pun TRO!) we should all get on the wagon \:D/
I'm actually excited about seeing him play when they get back to FedEx - I'll be there screaming and cheering for our new QB.

I'll also be cheering for the best coach in the NFL
