I thought the exact same thing. Why is he team captain?

Is his new alias "Captain Stand-Around?"

I want to put out the idea of bringing in Drew Bledsoe for a 2 year contract next year.

He knows Dallas inside and out and if we put together a "Hog" O-line infront of him, he can still deliver.

Still one of the best deep passers in the league when he has protection.

Would be a significant upgrade from Brunell.

Think Snyder will go after him?

The only man who cant outrun Brunell

Out throw him too!

Yeah, that would be fun watching passes tipped deep in our own territory and picked off, or run back the legnth of the field when we were in the red zone while dallas laughs at us for picking him up as they sweep us.

No thanks!

We definitely need an answer to the QB problem. The answer is NOT Bledsoe.

On the contrary, He's team captain because despite the fact that romo is playing, His team mates still voted him captain of the team.

RESPECT in the locker room.

We have our QB.

I'm worried about the defensive line.

I just hope some people whose opinions actually matter are worried about it too...

Can never say never.

Exactly....I suspect Dallas will release him per his request and so he will probably be available without giving a draft pick.

With a solid O-line, Bledsoe can throw circles around Brunell.

ABSOLUTELY......not. No way, JC is the future of the offense. There's no way were having some guy, what? 35? 36 years old come in and run the offense..again. he should just stay in dallas and hold the clipboard. all the skins need is defense.

The Jags might not be as ready to let him go as they once thought.

It's all on Brunell as far as a BACHUP QB goes in Washington, Campbell has done nothing but what has been asked of him and improved as his playing time has gone up. Gibbs set out last off season to fix the offense, took some time but it looks like he has gotten that taken care of. Now it's on to the defense and do what needs to be done there. If a QB comes in it will be someone most of us have never heard of to be insurance.

Bledsoe can at least throw the long ball. But Heck NO!!! We have Campbell and so far he is 2and 2 I think. More positives than negatives for Campbell. Bledsoe is a bum.

Are you serious about wanting to sign Bledsoe, or is this a bad joke?

Def would be a great backup. I'm not convinced Romo is better.

Trust me you are NOT alone on that thought.

Bledsoe could come in and mentor Jason Campbell for a year or two.

Why Bledsoe over Brunell for that purpose. Believe me, I'm not advocating either to actually start.

Mentor him in what? Bledsoe has no experience with this offense or this team or its coaches. I'd prefer that JC have Collins and/or Brunell as his mentor(s), and maybe bring in someone a bit younger to back him up.
