Yeah, he really destroyed 'em that second game of the season.

You're right. Our second meeting with Dallas last year, he was 12 for 20 with 4 TDs! Not huge on yards with a little over 150, but you can't blame Mark that we started running the ball after dominating Dallas so badly, can you?
(just keeping things positive. . .)

The question is, TRO, if he plays poorly, will you continue to defend his position as the starting QB?

Don't forget the game before that! Heck, or even the game before that one! He racked up 300 yards with Coles and Gardner catching passes!
This guy owns Dallas!

I will continue to support*:
A) His status as a Redskins LIVING LEGEND (slayed the evil cowboys not once, but TWICE in '05)
B) Joe's decision to make a QB switch on HIS terms, not the fans'.
C) JC as the FUTURE of the franchise. That boy can play!!! That boy good!!!
*As I always have.
Of course, that decision won't be made until February, since we're about to go on a tear, and Brunell's leadership, QB play, and guts-out play will leade us to the promised land!!!
URP!!!
(It might be the Kool-Aid talkin', but, doesn't this make it a more pleasant Friday before the thrashing of Dallas?)

He has a 2 and 2 record against the Cowgirls; not exactly owning someone! That game you're refering to the Redskins lost 18 - 21.
He did have those three plays against the Cowgirls in the Redskins first win over Dallas since Spurrior's first year. One was a huge scramble (good play by Mark), the second was the first TD to Moss (so poorly thrown that Roy Williams actually ran past were the ball landed and should have had an easy INT), and the third was the perfect pass to Moss moments latter (by the way, so far that has been the ONLY perfect deep pass MB has completed as a Redskin!
Yeah, he owns the Cowboys!

He'll have a "Peytonesque" day?

against Dallas? Dream on. This season has been pretty ugly so far, but the really hideous part begins tomorrow. This team doesn't have what it takes to sack up and play good football. All they've proven so far is that last year was an aberration, that this team is really just an aging bunch of losers. A win tomorrow could disprove a good chunk of what I just said, but I don't believe they're capable of it.

[quote="REDEEMEDSKIN"]PREDICTION: Mark Brunell will have his best game as a Skin against the Cowpansies on Sunday, and will begin his meteoric ascent back into the ranks of the top QBs in the league.
You heard it here first.

2-5??
That's old news. We have a 9-game season remaining, and we have more than enough talent to go undefeated in that 9-game season!!!

Come hither, where the rivers of Kool-aid are running over!!!

You're more than welcome under this tent. Pull up a lounge chair, and watch the Skins work their magic behind #8.
Heck, what's the worst that could happen? You could be wrong.
But, what's the best that could happen? The team can finish 9-0 and you could be...ohhhhhhh...soooooo....right!!! And THEN how would you feel, eh?
Keep the kool-aid comin', it's almost game time, baby!!!
The Skins are in it to win it, baby!!! Alright!!!!!

I taste the kool aid and it taste ahhhhh refreshing! Forward ho Tailg8!

Yeah we won, but no thanks to MB... It was another performance that exposed his awful to mediocre play.
MB is the handcuffs on this offense. If MB would have played like that in Dallas this would have been real ugly....thank God for our fans, they really were a factor in that game, the house was shaking!
Did you see that play when Brunell curled into the fetal position when the DE was still about 2-3 feet away from sacking him? I couldn't stop laughing. He didn't even try to step into the pocket and do his famous 3rd row laser or make a completion, he simply curled into a ball before even being touched!
I was at the game and it is startling how bad Brunnell really is, I mean he looks awful on TV but in person his lack of ability is displayed on a totally different level. He looks old, really old.

My biggest disappointment with his play came late in the game with a 3rd and long, when he was forced to scramble left, and rather than cut back and try to make the first down, he steps out of bounds. If it's the 1st half, okay, I can understand saving yourself for the rest of the game , but this was a critical point in the game and he wasn't willing to stick his nose out there and even attempt to get the first down. I remarked to my wife that MB showed his true colors on that one play: always playing not to lose.

I fell off of the sofa when he did that. What an absolute disgrace. On another play MB04 curled into the fetal position a good 2 seconds before the end sacked him. If he's not only going to suck but also play like a 3 year old girl then he needs to be cut. I will celebrate the day he's gone.

Hmm. . .it seems to me like you just gave the fans more credit for that victory than Mark Brunell. Something's awry with that reasoning. . .
