I'm going to give Hall the benefit of a doubt, because it's only one game...and it was a 47 yard attempt...and there's really no better option right now.
We're stuck with him. They say he was inconsolable after the miss. I put no stock in that...I'm sure Norwood was, too...but I like hearing that more than I like hearing, "Well, you know...the wind, the hold, the snap, the pretty girl in the first row..."
Watch how tenuous my support is at the next big miss.
"Sit back and watch the Redskins.
SOMETHING MAGICAL IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!"

It would be the one game excuse if he didn't do this during last season and pre season as well.

It's not just one game. It's been the same story with Hall ever since he got here. He is constantly hurt, can't kick over 40 yards, can't kick off, etc. Yea 47 yards isn't easy but Hall wasn't even close on that kick. We are basically paying this guy a lot of money to not kick off and to not make any field goals outside of 40 yards. What a joke. I wouldn't be this upset about it if Gibbs and Co. had at least brought in come other kicks during camp to try out. How the coaching staff could've looked and Hall and Frost's performances from last season and decided that their positions didnt need to be upgraded is beyond comprehension.

We did have another kicker in camp: Tyler Jones. He played in NFL Europe for us. As for Frost, he has put together 3 straight good games for us so its hard for a coach to cut him when he has shown (THIS SEASON) reliability.
