I was also right about Portis getting so beat up he would become ineffective at season's end.

Five straight 100+ rushing yards to finish out the season was the result of him being beat up and being ineffective? His lack of effectiveness in the post-season was more the result of the flow of the game having to move the ball via the air and bad field position than his being banged up. Portis was there to the end and was a critical, if not THE most critical part of our playoff run at the end of the season. If anyone was "banged up" it was Brunell!!

You da MAN!!!

Anyway, I think Gibbs was very carefull with his verbage at his news conference. He left it open to the possibility of how Collins plays, and several other factors. But, I like his line of thinking in that he wants Campbell to get a full week of reps before he throws him in there. I think it's a brilliant decision by a brilliant Coach who has the best interests of not only Campbell, but also of the Redskins in mind.

Many people here know that I have been pulling for Jason since we drafted him. But I really feel that Brunell, if he remains healthy, will have a MVP year. From what I've seen, he looks good and appears to be in great condition. I am really behind him at this point. If he goes down, I know Jason will step in and do fine. Not really sure how I fell about Collins though.

CP's problems in the postseason were mostly due to a battered O-line.
