I have noticed another quirk, although I'm not sure if it is new to V3. If you close your IE session, all message threads get marked as read. For example, I am reading through the Lounge and have several threads with new replies denoted by blue or red boxes, when someone comes into my office. I go to minimize the window, but accidentally hit the close "X" instead. When I open a fresh window and go back to the Lounge all the threads will be marked as read. This only happens if you actually close all of your IE windows, not if you go to another page, and then come back.

I think closing your browser logs you out. When you go back, you log back in and all of those messages are not new since your last visit, only since your next to last visit. I think the old phpBB didn't log you out with IE for some strange reason.

Is there no way to keep those messages as unread, even if you log out?

Not that I know of.

Didn't I say that asking about avatars would lead to a one year added delay on it being posted?

I guess I should update the avatar info anyway instead of just being a smart alleck.

There doesn't appear to be a way to get them back.
There doesn't appear to be a way to automate the process of adding them all again... which means that each one will have to be re-entered individually, and with their being hundreds of them, it will take time. Time I don't have at the moment. It won't even be looked at for a while as I will be at training camp for the next few weeks. Maybe when I get back I will be able to find the time to re-add them before the season starts.

Then again, maybe I won't.

Avatar aren't important. Training camp is starting. FOCUS PEOPLE FOCUS!!!!!!
