The -only- satisfaction that I have is that my Habs played A LOT better than the DeEvils agains the Canes.

The Oilers rest quietly out of town for all of EIGHT days healing and planning their Stanley Cup Series with the mentally and ohysically exhausted survivor from the series above. :wink:

its hard to say who has the advantage, i like to think that the team who gets less rest is still in "the zone" of the game while the guys who have been sitting on their ass are out of practice, then again the stanley cup is the most difficult post season in sports.. its long and painful and there are many game 6s and 7s .. itll be interesting whos gonna pull it out.. go caps

Sorry NC, your team only won the last series because four Sabres defensemen were hurt. Injuries finallly caught up toBuffalo. Great run though. Ward might still be the man to beat by the Oilers though.

Whatever . . . maybe if we had Eric Cole, the series wouldn't have gone to seven. One thing I do know is that they have been at the top of the standings all year and deserve to be going to the finals.

Sorry, the 'canes are like the Eagles to Caps fans. I don't hate them as much as I hate the FLyers and Penguins from back in the day before they diluted the NHL with expansion, but they are quickly making a run at getting there. ;furious;

I am not supporting either team. I am only making an NHL Hognostication. But if I was pushed to make a decision, it would be tough to decide whether to support the Canadians playing in Carolina or the Canadians playing in Edmonton. :wink:

I guess I will take both groups of Canadians and hope for a great series, eh? :wink:

After all, the REAL Canadiens are out. :cry:
