Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

Patrick wanted out and he wanted a shot at starting, Gibbs wouldn't hold a player from seeking that even if he felt he weren't a starter. The Jets are far from a expansion team they are also far from a playoff team. This good be good for Ramsey and the Jets. They've had their hopes dashed year in and year out with Chad, he's more than likely done anyway. Patrick could be the talk of the town soon.

It could happen

Maybe. :-k

It's the Jets. It's New York. It'll never happen. [-X

I Hognosticate no more than 5 wins for the Jets next season. And I am being generous...
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

Joe Gibbs does not keep players who have indicated that they would rather play elsewhere. He has never kept a player who has expressed a desire to leave and not play for him.

I am a fan of Patrick Ramsey. I feel that he would have had a chance next season under Joe Gibbs. I feel Joe would have helped him develop better than anybody else. But I understand Patrick's reasoning and his attempt to look for (hopefully brighter) opportunities elsewhere.

So, now the Jets have a true "Jetskin".

I also am a little sorry to see Ramsey go - I think he might have had a better chance to grow if he had stayed here as I would not be surprised to see him get the starting job here if Brunell did not play as well in the early going. I am excited about Campbell but Ramsey has the experience and IF Campbell is not really good early then we would have had Ramsey. I do not want anyone saying that he has to learn - that is BS this is the NFL and we have some very good WRs to throw to - we saw what an experienced not so talented QB could do last year - we deserve the better QB.

We have a decent line to play behind now and I think that we were a better team with Brunell, Campbell and Ramsey than we are now BUT Ramsey did want to leave and that gave Gibbs and Saunders a chance to bring in Collins who will be a help with Cambell.

Again I'm sorry he wanted to leave but I wish him well and I hope Campbell is really ready to play in the NFL. This could be a great year offensively.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
