You can only run so many wr screens.
Actaully Randle El is more of a possesion reciever, he has a great burst but is not the fastest WR in the league. He was used as a "chain mover" all year last year.

Jansen on his broken thumbs:
"It’s limited me in some ways but has been beneficial in others. It’s like I have a couple of clubs on my hands. I just have to hit people with them."

So far, so good. It doesn't feel like 2000, where everything happened at like, 12:02.
We're improving...on a 10-6 season.
NFC East, look out. Here come the Redskins !
"Sit back and watch the Redskins.
SOMETHING MAGICAL IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!"

And more importantly, all the guys we have acquired or are trying to acquire are on the right side of 30, which could not have been said of Jeff George, Bruce Smith, Mark Carrier and Deion Sanders.
Joe Gibbs has a vision for the future. In 3 years, we will have Campbell in his 2nd year, Portis, Moss, ey, Randel El, and Lloyd together for their 3rd consecutive year, and an all pro coaching staff to mold them into a powerhouse. The Skins are going to be the most consistent team and will become the next dynasty in football...
....David Elfin, Washington Times, was just on Sirius NFLRadio and he said he spoke with Randle El ten (10) minutes ago and that the ESPN report is not true!
but that qoute i put up was quoted from another forum and that post was put up at 4:11.
basically on nfl radio at 4:00 david elfin said that randell el was on a plane heading for chicago and that he had not signed a contract with the washington redskins.
John Clayton said he knew the financial details of the new deal and said that the Redskins offered him 12 million more in total contract value than the Bears original offer. Clayton said that negotiations wrapped up 30 min ago. Clayton is never wrong.

ESPN updated their site with financial details: "Former Steelers wide receiver Antwaan Randle El has agreed to a six-year, $31 million deal with the Washington Redskins, a source familiar with the negotiations told ESPN.com's Michael Smith. The deal includes $10 million in bonuses."
Who knows what's going on, but none of the other sites are updated, makes you wonder.
maybe ESPN "the worldwide leader in sports" knows a little more than Jay Glazer from FOX and Adam Schefter from NFL Network. Plus Elfin (Wash Times) reported this morning that the Redskins were strapped with the cap and had little money to spend.
