while i think this game will be alot closer than some of you are saying, i think that the steelers are gonna win this one. Seattle fans remain in seattle, while steelers fans are dedicated and all over the place. Steelers have the home crowd in my opinion. But also remember that this is the NFL, and that no team is a pushover (even the texans won two games). While the steelers are a bit more talented me thinks, they will still have their hands full with the seahawks. As one wise man once said, "If you gain a yard in the NFL, you've earned a yard in the NFL", and the seahawks have definetly earned being in the superbowl.

i mean, they did beat us afterall...

Looking at the poll it seems the majority are pulling for the steelers!!!I'm pulling for them!!!Cowher never choked in the last Super Bowl!!!The fact is his quarter back is the one that choked!!!!!I think that will be the difference today my friends!!!Big ben will not choke and the steelers "D" is going to rain down on Matt h.

Well. it's a few hours before kick off and I'm heading to a Superbowl Party. I am gonna place a nice size bet on the steelers, I hope they win and cover the 4 points. Enjoy the game boys!

WOw. Lots of picks for the steelers.
I don't see it.
Seahawks win 27-17. Hasselbeck MVP.

Alright, 1 hr. to Kickoff and I'm actually pretty nervous with my pick.

At first I was like Steelers all the way, but now, I think all this "win it for Jerome" crap gives Seattle the edge. However, I still see Pittsburg defense better than Seattle's offense so...

Steelers 23
Seahawks 17

It's over now, and Pittsburgh won, but I think Seattle got screwed. The refs were so totally Pittsburgh one-sided that it made me angry. If you are only going to call a few penalties, because it is the Super Bowl, then at least call them evenly.

Well, I was awfully glad that with Hasselbeck doing his arrogant little taunt for the third game in a row that he got this loss !!!

It seemed to me that the Seahawks buckled under the pressure.

By the way, didn't Parker's TD come on the counter-trey? I didn't see the slo-mo replay enough to watch all of the line movement, but it would be amusing. Russ Grimm blocked on the Timmy Smith runs in SB 22; Grimm coached the OL on the run in SB 40.

I was thinking the same thing!!!That was power running all the way!!!I was yelling that was a counter trey run at the super bowl party and everone was looking at me like is was nuts!!(most of them had no clue what it was anyway)

Does anyone else think Troy Polumalu sounded like a woman in his postgame interview?

Guys - seriously - I didn't see the pro-steelers refs you did. I think Ben got the front side of the ball across the plane and the head ref didn't want to overturn based upon the evidence on hand. I saw the Seattle line holding on almost every play yet it didn't get called as much as they held. I think the officiating went both ways. There were some fumbles by Seattle that they called dropped passes (one by Jerramy Stevens at least). Just my opinion here so please take it at that.

But what was up with Roethlisberger wearing that glove. It made him terrible. He had no touch on his balls whatsoever.

Now I know it was because he had on some type of brace on his thumb, but couldn't he have just used some tape?

And what were the Steelers thinking keeping Big Ben in the game for when they had Randle El on the bench the whole game!

He was sporting the Michael Jackson look. yeah it was for his thumb brace. He has worn it before, last year.
