Vandal, I agree - it will be a hard fought game. May the best team win.

I gave respect to the skins for their victory then, and I maintain that respect now

Appriciate that respect... We deserve it, as do you... but your partner there has a lot so say... so... so do I.

NFC probowl starting Quarterback, Halfback and Fullback not to mention the best left side line in the NFL

It's a little easier to make pro bowl players when you play "crap teams".

Not every season does that team take their division by storm

okay but come on... you went 6-0... impressive, but against
san fran
st louis &
arizona

We had:
philthy
pukes
little giants and went 5-1

That's from one extreme to the other.
Seriously not try'n to put your team down, but i'm gonna talk back when people come to our site and talk smack to us.
Not say'n it's gonna be easy against you either... but I am very confident that we will win.
I wish your team bad luck with no injuries.

Haha.

Hey, like I said in the other thread, I think the Skins played in the toughest division this year. But like I said in THIS thread, strength of schedual does not equal team skill. If you had our schedual you'd probably be 13-3 as well, if we had yours, we'd probably have a record similar to yours. However, the fact is we had a stellar record on an easy schedual, if we weren't any good, we'd have a much worse record against an easy schedual.

Again, I point out the near perfect Colts had a similarly weak schedual, and that dosn't change the fact that many people have them picked to win the Super Bowl.

I'm sorry but that's a bit much! The Seahawks are a good team but they're not on the same level as about 3-4 teams in the AFC. And they certainly do not compare very well with Indy.

We will have to play well but we should win this game. Alexander is very good but the Giants thought that Barber would have a huge game too based on 2 x 200+ yard games in the last 3! - big mistake. I see the same thing here, we will shut down the run and our offense will do whatever is needed to win.

The Bears are whole different game but we will just take this 1 game at a time, just like we've been doing for the past 6.

i was pretty worried about the seahawks game until i saw this thread and looked at their schedule. they should be automatically bumped to the lowest seed in the playoffs. that schedule is an absolute JOKE. it is absolutely PATHETIC to try and defend that and act like they have proved ANYTHING at this point.

the redskins have already proven themselves this year... 6 games in a row!

look fortward, my fellow skins fans. we'll let the dogs out against the pats, in the super bowl. we're nursing our key players back, until then.

please go on an 11 game winning streak. bet you 10 dolla's you couldn't do it with the same 11 people we played. you know why cuz your . you seriously think you will win? you didnt prove anything against the Buc dude. You were rushing a scared playoff rookie! I wouldn't brag about that. WE are a changed team on the defensive side and you will see that on game day. have fun watching us go to the next round you fat porkers. :D

i will grant that st. louis, arizona, and even philly weren't particularly formidable opponents. but dallas, new york, and tampa are good teams (9-7, 11-5, 11-5 respectively). it is silly to say those games were "weak". all you do by calling our win streak "weak" is insult yourself-- or did you forget that you played philly? and st. louis and arizona TWICE??

also bear in mind this:

Mike Holmgren's playoff record: 9-8

Joe Gibbs's playoff record: 17-5

You are in the wrong forum if you want to make mindless idiot posts with profanity in them.

Trust me, we smack with the best of them, but please don't embarrass your pathetic organization and your other Bill Gates clone fans.

Go ahead and put on your pink button up shirt, sweater, khakis and grab your cup of Starbucks and go clap for your cupcake football team.

We'll see after the game who is talking. Frappuchino Boy

Whered you get your stats? From the broad with the little kid in her picture? I figure the only stat she knows is where the rookies go after the games to pick up the trash. LOL

I think that stat (the Seahawks having the 17th ranked defense) is from NFL.com.

But let's ignore that, because it's unpleasant to think about. Seahawks Rockz!!1!

Wow, what incredible insight again.

First of all... schedule... s-c-h-e-d-u-l-e.... schedule.

Second... well I don't have a second because I'm still trying to figure out if your post actually said anything. :hmm:

This is the only important stat

December 29th 1984 - Miami 31 Seattle 10
January 3rd 1988 - Houston 23 Seattle 20(OT)
December 31st 1988 - Cincinnati 21 Seattle 3
January 9th 2000 - Miami 20 Seattle 17
January 4th 2004 - Green Bay 33 Seattle 27 (OT) "We want the ball and were gonna score" YEAH RIGHT ROTFALMAO

Notice the 0-3 in January playoff record. The playoff drouht will continue for the Seahawks. Take your 13-3 creampuff record and Home Field advantage and enjoy it because come Saturday you be saying to yourselves How did this happen? :hmm:

The Skins escaped Tampa with a win and believe me we will have 3 times the yardage against the Seahawks.

Go back to your own message boards and talk your trash trolls.

Hail to the Redskins HTTR

Has anyone seen who Seattle beat in their winning streak this season???? The best teams they beat were the Giants & the Cowboys Image, St. Louis & Tennessee gave them a tough game & Indy doesn't count Manning only played 2 series (or something like that) that game, Seattle couldn't beat Indy on their best day!

Check this out!

Your right, the the Colts win does not count and the Giants and Cowgirls are the only teams they beat with a winning record. Regardless they still a very good team but I think we'll match up very well against them. Hopefully our offense will be back in gear and our D will keep'em in check. I think seasttle is overlooking us and they will get more then they can handle come Saturday. btw,ANT I am also a huge! Yankees fan not to many Skins fans are yankees fans also

The Seahawks have a hard game on their hands. I hope they're falling into the hype because they arent as good as they think they are. Im sorry but that schedule is a cake walk.

Let the Happy Frappy's have their fun...their jelly donut team will be exposed AGAIN when GW cooks up another chaos for the Peahawks.

Carolina shut out the "high powered" Gay-ants offense, now Skins get a chance to give the Hawks a donut so dip in their Starbucks.

I can understand why these fans of theirs are so uptight, the're a little nervous.

Boss Hog is right - this is a #17 defense. That is amazing when you look at that schedule and then say they are #17 against that group. Plus, they have Alexander running for all those yards and they are still only #17? That is really amazing! I would be a little nervous also.

I am not predicting that we will beat them up or shut them down but I do think we win this game.

Congratulations on a good season but that ends this Saturday. Get a defense and bring it with you next season. NEXT!

ohhhhh, ohhhhhh

talking about us getting over confident? your doing the exact same things. And i think you need to find a better insult then Starbucks. thats crap is wack and your just angry cuz your city aint the base for billions of dollars.

Try and clown on our #17 defense but you will see how #17 they are. Are defense is young and have suffered many injuries. our starting linebackers our mostly rookies, our CB have suffered injuries, our Saftey has been out and we still find a way to win 11 games.

the Last time you beat us, was by 3 Points!!! how powerful do you think you really are? Portis is way to inconsistant and so is your Def. Our Def has the best RedZone Stop in the league. try to score on us. after Saturday you will see me back on these forums talking all the smack i want. Just dont delete me.

Is it our fault that the teams we played can't win games? nope! Is it my fault you guys are getting angry at us? nope, you invited us.

I'm going to ignore all the trash talking about teams as I don't like to do that sort of thing. Instead I will focus on the hilarious part of the post IMHO ...

your just angry cuz your city aint the base for billions of dollars

Yes, we're so sorry that Washington, D.C. is not the base for billions of dollars. It is the base for TRILLIONS of dollars. Or did you forget about where the seat of the U.S. government is located ?

So yes, we are jealous I guess.

I'll now remove my tongue from my cheek.

Good luck guys...I'm anticipating a great and hard fought game on both sides.

Gibbs has basically only coached for about 13 years now. How many has Holmgren coached? Yup, thats right ... 13. Same amount of years as a Head Coach, regardless of the person's age.

Not trashing Holmgren by any means. I think he's a great coach. just pointing out the flaw in your logic.
