I've always liked the Hawks as long as they weren't playing the Skins but their misguided fans & media are turning my stomach. They, for the most part, don't even consider this a game. They act like it's just one big party for them before they go to the Super Bowl. As if we're some crappy opponent you invite to homecoming week to insure a win in front of the alumni...in other words like when the Cowpukes inducted the "tripletts" into their "ring of honor" when they played us in September. The Seattle Post-Intelligencer called us nothing more than a "speedbump". Pretty cocky if you ask me considering they haven't won a playoff game in 21 years and already lost to us once this year.
Man I cant wait!!!
Don't hate the hawks because of the Media. The Hawks have been nothing but class this year. You won't see them on the front page for anything negative.
Now as far as the fans go, its been TWENTY-ONE YEARS since we've won a playoff game, I'm as realistic as they come, but this year even I've gotten carried away with optimisim.
I don't care if your a pessimistic fan, optimistic fan or a realistic fan, cause in the end its all about the Win.

I agree I don't hate the Hawks...in fact I will pull for them to win it all if they beat us...but some of the fans in this town get so carried away when one of their teams are doing well and they act like they're dynasties or something. I am hoping like crazy that the team is as over-confident as the fans. If they are they are in big trouble.
Here's to hoping it will be a classic that NFL fans will remember for decades!

Sometimes you have to put on the knee waders to shift through the BS and find the fans with enough humility to respect his/her Adversary.
