I'll take it too. Beats the heck out of that picture of Alstott heading for the phantom 2-point conversion as LA dove past the play and is shown with his head on the ground and his feet in the air.

Come on, we've been over this 1,000 times, Alstott had gone airborne on two previous goal line plays, LA decided he was taking that option away. If Alstott had done that a third time and Arrington had stayed on the ground he'd be getting ripped for not jumping.

You're exactly right. I pointed this out right after the game. You're darned if you do and darned if you dont.

It was the offenses fault we were in that position in the 1st place.

I'm not against his chance-taking -- just frustrated with the fruitlessness of it.

Chance-taking is LaVar opting to blitz rather than covering a back coming out of the flat, forcing Alstott to earn (or fail to earn in this case) a 2 point conversion on the ground is smart football.

It's ridiculous to focus more on the one offsides penalty over all the good plays he made. Our defense absolutely carried us on Saturday, they held Tampa to 10 points and basically scored 2 touchdowns for us. LaVar was a HUGE part of that effort.

... when part of the overall scheme. He was in the right place at the right time when he made that INT in the first quarter.

His skills are immense and GW will use them for the purpose of the overall scheme -- which could indeed include instances where LA is allowed a little bit of freedom.

Listening to Lavar on WTEM 980 now and he said that when he got home his wife said I love you and then informed him that her water broke. He didn't believe her at first b/c she was too calm for her 1st baby but she proved it to him. They had a baby girl.

About his INT, Lavar said that he probably would have run that back for 6 a couple of years ago but he feels like he is just getting his quickness back now after his surgery and conditioning.
After every game, every play & every highlight, I'll always remember #21. RIP Sean.
