I like that! :up: Now that is 1 sick puppy you've got there JF - oh no! I forgot - that makes 2 of you! :twisted:
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Ask the
Bucs for
Calls . . .

. . .the refs give them all the good ones!

On a personal note, I don't think any cynical / sarcastic remarks on a sign would make it on TV. They're looking for a generic cheer. Still, I hope one of these bitter sign ideas make it to national television. . .provided we win of course--just so we don't look like fools. . .

My fan side likes several of your suggestions but my public advertising instinct says something short, meaningful, and something that the cameras will take and the broadcasters will repeat when we win:

Joe is Back!

(for a rectangular sign)

and

In Joe
we trust!

(for a square sign).

I would use white or yellow letters on a burgundy background or burgundy letters on a white background.

Enjoy!

A compact version:

Monk = Hall

See an example to the left of this post. :wink:

I don't get it, RiC: are you saying that Monk is numerically identical to the Hall of Fame? ;)

No. I am saying that the identityof the HOF is not complete and accurate without Art Monk in it in the sense of Frege's theoryin "Über Sinn und Bedeutung" (1892) :lol:

My son wants to do up a sign...so I thought we'd have a little contest here...lets here you idea for a sign (the game is on ABC I believe) We'll pick a winner and the winner may get her or his sign on TV!!!

For example I could make one up and if the refs blow a call I could hold up a sign that says..

Another
Blown
Call

You might wear that sign out. Better bring a backup sign.

Ah, so what you are saying is "Art = Hall," and what you mean is:

1. There is a Hall of Fame
2. There is only one Hall of Fame
3. Whatever is the Hall of Fame has Monk in it

or, to use the concise logic that you might consider putting on the sign:

(fx)(Hx & (x)Hy --> x = y & Mx)

So maybe the sign should read:

"It's as easy as A B C:
(fx)(Hx & (x)Hy --> x = y & Mx)

Put Monk in!!!"

Why didn't you just say so. . .

Because in my simple-minded ways, I could not decide on whether to go for a formal symbolic logic approach with a simple conjunction symbol:

Monk ^ Hall = Fairness

or math set theory approach with a union of two sets:

Monk U Hall = Justice

or an ancient but effective Aristotelian straightforward sylogism:

If Monk is one of the geatest players of all time and
the greatest players of all time should be in the HOF then
Art Monk should be in the HOF

Simple eh? If only those guys in the Committee would know a bit of logic and justice, let alone football. :roll:

So, to make it clear to ALL for the time being:

Monk = Hall

Nice to see the Bucs fans are as classless as their QB and their coach.
