I wrote Santa for my Christmas gift this year, and asked for it to be delivered a week in advance. I have been good, worked hard and been to church regularly.
HaiL,

Just joined to have some no BS discussion for the upcoming game. So who is brunell goin to throw to? Moss is all there is and cooley. The first meeting we had Aaron Glenn on Moss now we will have Newman a much better CB. So who else do u all think is a threat honestly to the Cowboys Pass D?

Not a concern. He hasn't hurt us in 3 games.
Control the clock, Dallas wins. It's that simple.

You're going to be playing a much improved offense compared to wut u got earlier. Its not going to be as easy to stifle this offense and the defense is just as nasty was it was.

Replace the word "offense" with "defense" and you get sentiments on how I feel about our team.
I'm not scared of Moss if Newman's on him. If someone else is, that's a different story. Come to think of it, if Moss isn't 100% healthy (and he rarely is), I'm not afraid of him period.
Lots of 3 and outs, grind the ball out on offense and Dallas wins. They just have to hold up their end offensively.

Rarely? We aren't the Jets. Moss has been 100% all year till 2 weeks ago with a minor strain. He's 100% now. Newman can be beat just like any other corner.
I agree with lots of 3 and outs. I dont think Dallas will be able to run effectively against this D. Aside from the OT meltdown we shut down LT and ur run offense is no seattle (no smack). We're going to force you guys to pass which will negate any ball control.

Not for nothing, but with your secondary all gimpy (regardless if they play or not, you know they're not 100%), I'd love for us to air it out. But it's not gonna happen. Parcells is right, we don't need to average 5 yards a carry as long as we hold onto the ball, keep the opponent defense on the field, control TOP and let the D handle the rest.
It's been the formula all year, aside from when we Pearl Harbored the Eagles. I doubt we're gonna do that to you on Sunday.
Grind 'em out football. Old School NFC East style.

From NFL.com:
STREAKS AND NOTES: Cowboys - Dallas has lost 16 of its last 19 road games in December, but two of the wins came at Washington. ... Terry Glenn needs 21 receiving yards to record his third 1,000-yard season and his first since 1999 with the Patriots. ... The Cowboys lead the NFL in time of possession at 32:59 per game. Redskins - RB Portis has rushed for 100 yards in 10 of 13 December games (1,640 total), with 23 TDs. ... Brunell has gone four straight home games without an INT. ... The Redskins are looking to win two straight division games for the first time since 2001.[/b]
That really is a lousy record against the NFC East in recent years. Time for this team to step it up and play some smash mouth.

Yes we do fella's.
And I'm coming down for the game,
Thanks to JPFair (very cool guy). I was at that Skins Minnesota game many mooons ago and was actually chanting "We Want Dallas". The place was literally rocking!! I expect the same this Sunday as I represent the Boston chapter.
I'll be coming by the THN tailgate and look forward to meeting ya'll.
This is gonna be a tough one, but maybe I'll bring the karma we had in '81 and Portis will take a bow after a monster running performance, just like Riggo did.
I am so psyched I can barely stand it!!

I've got two friends who are Cowboys fans (we try not to talk about football), and it's about time that bragging rights changed hands for the offseason.
The way to win the game? Stop making dumb mistakes, and run the ball all day long. Trouble is, I doubt that a Parcells team will let us run all day, so the D will end up having to keep it tight again while they wait for the offence to make enough plays in the passing game to win it. They'll be terrified of Moss, so somebody else must step up to take advantage of the attention he'll be getting. Are you listening, Taylor Jacobs?
I think running will be the key to game. Running will set up the play action. However I doubt that they'll bite on it unless we save it to the end of the game and we're having raving success with the run.
Again, we need Brunell to open his eyes and throw it to someone else. Fans and analysts have said guys are open, he's not looking for them.

Yeah, I'm with you on that one Luva. We need the "x-factor" to win this one. X-factor = Brunell looking for #3 receiver who will have career day, or D-Line pummeling Bledsoe until he becomes "The Falling Statue" I got to know when he was a Patriot, or another Rock running day...all those little extras the analysts just can't predict. If this goes textbook, I'm afraid our banged up secondary is going to be our downfall.....But the great thing is that this is the NFL and "textbook" rarely happens. That's why I gave up betting..
