If these guys cannot produce and if they're no good then its nobody's fault but that of the coaching staff for not supplying the team with adequate backups.

I dont believe that these guys are incompetent I think they can compete and at least catch. Their have been people on this board that have said jacobs and Farris have been open. Brunell admitted in his press conference that one of his INTs was a poor decision since he had Jacobs wide open but threw it to Cooley anyway!! He's showing entirely too much favoritism and needs to get a gut check. I like Brunell he's been a good QB for us this season but for him to come down the stretch and buckle will cost him his head.

If I get tickets to the game Im making a banner that says "Cooley and Moss aren't the only receivers on the team!!!!"

=D> again, amen! it seems clear that brunell simply looks for moss, and if he's not open, goes straight to the check-down, even if it's robert royal!

isn't that kind of progression basically what most ROOKIE quarterbacks start out with in the NFL?? until they learn to see the field better and can go through a real sequence of all the receivers??
if we are running plays with ROOKIE QB read-progressions, why not just put campbell in there in the first place? someone who actually has the arm at this point in the year to MAKE the throw if he sees a guy open?

this is totally embarassing.
