Uniforms

Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

I think there are better uni's out there than that anniversary one from a few years ago.

I think that our uniforms are kind of like fashion. It was cool back then, kind of whack for a while, and now they are coming back in style.

For a while there I wanted us to change our uniforms like in the late 90's, but now I think the way Portis, Arrington, and Taylor rock their uniforms has made them cool again.

I really like the white on white. I wonder if they got the idea from this months team calander. If you notice, it has Patrick Ramsey featured wearing the White on White.

we're 6-6 and way down on the playoff chart, Even if we win-out we are 10-6 and behind on a couple tie-breakers.....

....and you want to debate uniform colors!!!!

Come on people... Get focussed here...we need your karma focused on the play of our team not their "look"....Geez

Look dude...lighten up...as long as they are focused on the Cards over at Redskins park we will be fine....fans can discuss whatever we want during the week.

Whether we sit around and draw up gameplans for the Cards is irrelevant...cause we all know they don't listen to us anyway.

Also the only tie breaker we would be behind in that scenario is the Head to Head vs Bucs....other than that we would own all tiebreakers.

Have you seen our black jerseys...? :(

I liked them.

As long as they never, ever wear the black unis I'll be happy.

I loved it, but if I had my preference we'd change uniforms altogether. I like the throwback, 75th anniversary uniforms myself. If we went to them fulltime, we'd have to have a white jersey with gold pants for wearing at home, but that'd be cool.

Agreed

As far as the white on white uniforms, that combo will always remind me of the ole ball coach and weeks 1 and 2 of his second season as head coach. so no I hate them.

Yeah but we won those 2 games... i think. Jets and falcons? I like the white on white. They look clean. Also makes us look faster, lol.

I'm with you Dave. My prized possession as far as Redskins memorbilia goes, is a yellow R mini-helmet signed by Larry Brown. It is BY FAR my favorite helmet.

I think they said the eagles uni's were really dark green but b/c of the rain/sleet/snow they appeared black.

I agree and don't care much for em.

I like the darker colors on uniforms. How about Burgandy pants and Burgandy and Gold unis?
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.

touchy touchy! [-X

I was in error only because you seem to think I was "correcting" you! - please - I was only making a remark about Arrington obviously not being gay! My apologies for this.

But, please keep your responses a little more civil - nothing was meant, and your reponse, or opinion, about who knows what (if anything) is a good indicator to me of your level of knowledge also.

cheers!
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

That is an awesome jersey the way Lavar wears it. You guys don't like it??

I hope they wear it again and at home...heck if we keep winning, don't change until the playoffs.

If you consider 90K+ fans puking in unison "attitude", then, yes, they'd absolutely bring attitude with 'em. :puke:

I agree! I think we all know that Gibbs likes the white top also. I also do not think the black uni is going to be something that Gibbs (or these players) will go for!

I would like to see more B&G but, hell, whatever "works" is fine!

Actually, I didn't mean it be taken seriously (I mean who would take "focussing Karma" seriously  ), it just didn't come across that way. An emoticon would probably have helped. Sorry, no harm intended. Just make sure your Karma is still focussed on gameday.

As far as Uni's, My vote is a big fat NO on all black. There's gotta be Burgundy and Gold!!
