Jake and I are on record having wanted to recruit Santana Moss the year Marty decided to pick Rod Gardner instead.
As to what LC may be saying: Boss said it in the Cartoon. But you can also imagine:
LC: It's a business. And business is GOOD!
I would say poor Jets. But they deserve one another.

Can't we just be happy both guys are happy now? Sure Coles would happier if he had a QB but he is where he wants to be right?

NOPE -- Why should we all the BS we heard (mostly but not all from YOU) about Sideline Santana? Now we should all be happy?
OK I'm happy you didn't explain that "sideline Santana" got that nickname by running from one sideline to the other (picking up 30 to 40 yards along the way). Very glad we figured that out without your input. Some of us are a little slow though (must be the Florida sun) I thought Sideline Santana means that once he's caught the ball near the sideline - it'd be stupid to even attempt to catch him.
Everyone said Coles would be happy to be reunited with Chad when the trade was made. Coles ain't happy, so you can shovel that somewhere else. Maybe he should cut his losses and get that FOOT fixed.
JPFair wrote:I hate to sound redundant, but what the hell must Coles be thinking? In one sentence, what are your thoughts on what Laverneus Coles must be thinking about the trade between him and Moss right now?
JP, I don't think Coles can answer that - in 1 sentence I'd say LC is thinking...
"What the hell was I thinking"

His foot? lol ,it hasn't been a problem all season. In case you didn't notice we have a guy who was watching the days of our lives in week 1. I also said our OC was garbage and NEVER went deep. How many Td's passed moss catch in traffic or going over the middle? The skins have a QB & a OC who know how to utilize SM's skills. It's that simple.

Yeah his foot. He's got all of you buying it's OK. That's your problem now.
I notice whats going on in NY, I also notice the BS your now trying to back away from. You had to know I'd give you at least some grief

.
Just to get it right you are now saying...
We DIDN'T get hosed in the Moss for Coles deal. Right?
That Coles production has nothing to do with Coles but more to do with the OC and QB. Right?.... Wasn't that his reasons for wanting out of Washington?
Did you say something about Moss? I don't recall what you said and I don't know where to start looking. If I look to far back I'd think he was a guy you felt had no hope of being productive this year, and How he wouldn't make it to mid-season because he is so injury prone.

Moss can be a serious deep threat
Ive also said he wasn't a legit # wr in the NFL. He doesn't catch balls in traffic and he can't fight off double teams unless he outruns them.
I was never a fan of Moss and his soft playing style. He seems to have changed some things.
Moss is being utilized. Well.
