i'm considering an mp3 player for my wife for christmas,mostly for working out (which i like to encourage, since i reap all the benefits). why should i buy an ipod as opposed to any other mp3 player? is it strictly a size issue, where the ipods (i'm looking at the 'shuffle') are smaller than the competitors? or does it hold other advantages?

just ordered the 1000 song namo black for 250.00 for myself ....yes getting myself an early christmas gift. :lol:

...... never had one before ...got a cd player now and knowing that my ipod is coming it just a bit lame !!! :wink:

I just bought the Black Creative Zen Micro 5 giggs. Im hearing its great, its cheaper than an ipod. Does anyone have a personal favorite on their mp3 or any comments on mine?
