The tuck rule is very simple to understand. It basically states once the QB starts to "Tuck" the ball away. He can do what every the hell he wants with the ball but he has to do something else with it.
If the ball comes out that means he didn't get a chance to do anything with it.
If it goes backwards it's the continuation of the attempt to tuck it in.
This rule is perfect for the officating crews.... It allows them to do nothing, then they can say alot of stuff that means nothing
Does anyone have any footage of the "safety"?
