Echo the sentiments on all that you do here. Thanks!

Don't forget to register for the draft! :)

We have the Selective Services Form on the refrigerator waiting to be sent in but it's really a hard thing for a mom to do, so I've been kinda procrastinating. There is however jail time and a $250,000 fine involved if you happen to NOT send it in.

He hasn't even seen it yet, he never reads the refrigerator when he opens it to get food !!

Don't they do Selective Service at the same time as Voter Registration?

They sent us a form in the mail about 2 weeks before his 18th B-Day to fill out and send in.....like I said...it's still on the fridge.

Happy Birthday Jake! I hope you have an incredible day and evening! Did you take the day off work?

As NikiH wrote:You can get married without parental consent, but again not a good idea. lol Welcome to adulthood, lots of stuff you thought you wanted but will later change your mind!

Yup -- you can get married, but you STILL can't drink at your wedding! :P

Celebrate and have a great time. :celebrate: And a big happy b-day to your niece too!

Yep...he took time off for a change. It's good to see him again. :-) And yes...it's Madison's birthday also - she's a whole TWO today. Thanks for remembering her too Taz :-) Her party is Saturday and Jake's jealous cause she's getting a moon bounce and he's not. LOL

And Jake don't try to get in her moon bounce, it's for the kids pal and you no longer qualify! ;-)

Jake, 18 is a big number. Suddenly, what you do counts. You can now vote, and shoot intruders legally.
Happy birthday, my friend. I've enjoyed watching you get there for a couple years.
You're something special, and you have nowhere to go but up.
