im going crazy...nothing like a monday night win to make my week better. I do still feel like we have some issues on offense. However, I would rather address those issues at 2-0 than 1-1. Ill be at the seahawks game. GO SKINS!!!!

what you people fail to understand is that you can cheer for your team AND disagree with the decisions they make. that doesn't mean you don't love the team! every one of us here wants the same thing: to win. we disagree about what the best way is to do that. your "bandwagon" post is needlessly divisive, i guess it makes you feel smug and superior to think that you were right.

Shut up!!! Eat your entire foot. You keep saying this Bull...we would not have even been in the game if we we were throwing interceptions all game.

Stop crying and watch a smash mouth football team win games this year. Good teams win the close games, and that is what we did tonight.

69 yards between 2 RBs is not "smash mouth football".

also, the fact that we won doesn't somehow magically prove that ramsey would have lost.

Ill be real with you. Ive stated plenty of times that I have no ill will between Brunell or Ramsey at this point...

However, I dont believe Ramsey has the poise to have led a comeback such as that. My 2 cents

We'll never know for sure but thats just my opinion.

you are probably right, ramsey does tend to make bad decisions when he is under pressure to "make something happen" like that. however, he might've connected on a couple of those earlier throws to moss that would've been TDs, so maybe we wouldn't have been under such pressure. or, maybe he would've been sacked 10 times for 10 fumbles. who knows. i'm not saying ramsey would've won, just saying it's not a definite he would've lost, that's all. it doesn't matter since we won, obviously. i just hope we can carry over the last 5 minutes of this game into the next game, instead of the first 55 minutes.

Forget poise, CLL!!! Ramsey doesn't have the legs and footwork to scamper 25+ yards like Brunell did last night. Period.

Had Ramsey been in the same situation (hypothetically speaking), the Skins would not have had the chance to make there comeback.

People will hype up Brunell's loooooooong bombs (:hmm: did I really just say that??), but it was his decision-making and ability to scramble that sparked the team to victory.

It also helped that he didn't have to play at FedEx this week. The boo-birds (our "fans") would have never let up, and wmight have cost us the game. Mark now returns a hero, and he rightfully is cemented as the starter. My 2 cents

Some of us have shown that we can dish it out but we cannot take it when we are shown to be almost "anti" this team and the coaches! It's really surprising to me how many are trying to "justify" their negativity. The thread 'same old skins" is a testament to some of them.

We understand that some of you are still fans but we also want to remind you that there is absolutely no excuse for anyone questioning Joe Gibbs. This coach has earned the right to run this team and select the players that he thinks give us the best chance to win. I understand we have the right to question Gibbs' decisions but those fans who have been trying to preach patience also have a right to say "we told you" and please do not insult us for chastising people who have put down this great coach.

You all know who is invited to the table - Chris has prepared your dish, there's plenty enough to go around, enjoy.

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

This was a huge win. It doesn't guarantee that we make the playoffs but it is huge in the fact that we don't have to face a miserable 2 weeks if we had lost that game.

I love Coach Gibbs. And I did vent serious frustrations with the offense during the game. No skins fan can watch that first 55 minutes and not be frustrated. And I use this MB to vent my frustrations b/c I cannot vent at work where I am surrounded by NYG fans, cowboy fans, Philly fans, TB, Oakland, Carolina and Cleveland fans. I work in Greenbelt, MD (which is 20 min outside of DC for those who don't know the area) and I don't work with any Skins fans. Not that there aren't any Skins fans around my work campus..I just don't get to politic with them.

So if I am going to be critical of OUR Skins, I am going to do so here. That way I get it all out and come represent my man Gibbs and our team at work with a fresh battery.

I was the same when I was a teacher. I would cuss and scream at home so I didn't go off on a kid in the classroom.

Venting frustration and voicing criticism does not equal fair weather fan. To suggest so is just..well..uncivilized
After every game, every play & every highlight, I'll always remember #21. RIP Sean.

Here's a term some of you need to learn:
gra·cious
adj.

1. Characterized by kindness and warm courtesy.
2. Characterized by tact and propriety: responded to the insult with gracious humor.
3. Of a merciful or compassionate nature.
4. Condescendingly courteous; indulgent.
5. Characterized by charm or beauty; graceful.
6. Characterized by elegance and good taste: gracious living.
7. Archaic. Enjoying favor or grace; acceptable or pleasing.

What is the point of going around and being unfriendly to your fellow fans?

You are dampening the victory celebration!

No kidding. People around here have short memories. I'd like to see the offense light it for four quarters instead of 4 minutes for a change. I'm totally thrilled with 2-0, but Spurrier started 2-0 in '03 before finishing 5-11!! Still, it's a great start, and I'll take close wins over last year's close loses any day.

The Boys have had Lady Luck tied up in their basement for YEARS. Finally she got away and landed when they got drunk and held up signs about "owning the Redskins"...

I'm sticking with my chicken and rice, w/mushrooms, sweet onions and hot green chile. Brunell is the third best QB on the team - but I'm still thrilled with the win! Save my crow for the 'see I told you so crowd' in here.

Its smash mouth because we won the game on defense. The Sean Taylor hit on 3rd down was big. Get off of Ramsey's jock strap. There is no way you can say for sure that Ramsey could have done what Brunnel did last night.

NO ARM HUH....threw a TD pass 60 yards in the air.

Nobody I've seen has been "anti" Redskin here - except for the trolls. Last night didn't prove anything about Brunell to me. If it did for you - congratulations. To me, he's still the 3rd best QB on the team. I'll take a win any way I can get it. We got this one because the defense knocked snot bubbles outta the Boys all night long to keep us in the game. We made a couple of plays at the end...and THAT'S GREAT! Fan and butt-kisser are two entirely different things.

There's no rule that says "Fans aren't allowed to criticize their team."

Butt kissers are those of you who have a man crush on Ramsey...otherwise you wouldn't have your feelings hurt about him being benched.

I don't care if we put Brian Mitchell at QB if we win that is all that matters. Ramsey benched himself. He is an interception machine. He has to be the most loved, bad quarterback in history.

Yeah, but when you start a thread with "Fire Joe Gibbs" don't expect hugs and kisses! Sometimes you get what you get, and in this case you get smacked.

That's BS. No one has ever posted anything that even remotely supported the contention that Ramsey is an "interception machine," and at the same time, many, many people have posted many, many times concretely refutting that fact.

I don't care if Brian Mitchell is the QB either - I simply want to win. I'd also like us to play the best possible person at QB. If that's Brunell for you - fine, you're right for 3:48 seconds worth of game. I'd rather see Campbell than Brunell - guess that blows your 'must be gay' theory. I'm happy for the win - I'll take a W anyway I can get it - especially against the damn Cowboys! But if you think that includes bowing and praise for all decisions and actions - you're mistaken friend.

Kicked off the bandwagon?

I rather leave on my free will. Gibb is not good enough for modern day NFL football. That guy is so predictable and his spread offense, where is it. Those formations suck and why is he still running up the middle with Portis. The counter-tray does not work in modern football, LB are to quick! Own O-line sucks can't pass or run block, just nasty.

Burnell still sucks, that guys drops back 10-12 yrd to make a 5-8 pass, so he is really throwing the ball 15-20 for a dam 5-8 gain. That old man has no zip on the ball, watch A. Brook v. Giants he has an arm.

We are the worst team in the NFC East, the critics are right, we suck. Two lucky wins.
11.5 pt, apg worst than last season, great.
Go 06' Skins, Wildcard birth & please avg. more than 15 ppg.

Portis 1300 yrd.
