What worries me the most is our offense scoring three touchdowns with Brunnell starting under center. That worries me..........I need some beer!!!

Mark Brunell worries me most

The thing that worries me the most about monday night is the fact that we ALWAYS find a way to lose to Dallas. Just about every game I can think of against Dallas recently we have either beaten ourselves, or the refs have slid a dry one in us. No its, not our QB, no its not dallas' D, no its not Julius Jones...IT'S US THAT WORRIES ME THE MOST. We are just simply snakebitten against this team and it needs to stop monday night. Skins gotta get their heads right and get all this qb conflict crap out of thir heads right now before it even starts.

I'm concerned about our QB play and JJ not playing, we could end up having a backup on the blind side of our QB!

Unfortunately I think the QB play is going to be a big factor also. But....The glass is half full until the half. Plus, Brunell has an extra day this week to get his stuff together.

DE, it was great meeting you on Sunday, by the way! But, I, like Scott, am a little worried about seeing you in a dress, lol.

Points. That's what worries me. Every time you allow a drive to stall inside the 5, and kick for 3, you fire up the opposing team.
Every time you turn the ball over, you put too much pressure on your defense.
You just can't play as poorly as we do in the red zone, and expect your defense to bail you out.
No matter how good the defense is, you can't expect them to hold the other side to 10 points every game, especially when the offense isn't getting the job done.

Keep in mind though, the scoreboard continues to change with every field goal, whether you approve of it or not.
BTW - If we have to beat the Cowboys with 6 field goals... then so be it!!!
We will have accomplished something that's only happened ONCE over the past 12 years or so.

Offensive redzone scoring is a worry for me. If we can score 17 points I can see us winning.

Going to work on Tuesday if we lose,
I agree with CLL to the max REDZONE Scoring.
We will be OK we have Sean Taylor.

i,m just worried cause it,s those stinkin cowboys that we have to play and being in dallas only adds insult to injury.
i don,t want to get into how the officiating will go cause it will be nothing but cowboy calls.all in all it,s cause we play the the girls and the officials that will be officiating the game in general that worries me the most.
their streak will end sooner than later.

The Redskins must get good production from the passing game, and score 7 pointers (three of them)to win. With the Cowboys now playing a 3-4 defense, they'll be stacking the line to stop the run, as is the strength of the 3-4, and they'll continue to stack the line until we beat them deep in the air, forcing those backers and safeties into coverage. If we can't throw the ball, and we get behind by 14 points, the Cowboys will just tee off on blitzes and man coverage and things could get ugly.
On the plus note for the Skins, if Rabach plays cowboys nose tackle well, and the rest of the O-line gives Portis and Betts some running lanes, then the safeties will have to come up to stop the run, placing Moss and Patton in single coverage on the outside. And we've seen how Moss can get open down field, and also how well he runs after the catch.
With all that mumbo jumbo said, the real key is still throwing the ball. Another key, especially in the red zone will

ey working on a linebacker.
My feeling is that this game is so up in the air, anything could happen. Brunell will be the ultimate key (scary)....he's got to beat the cowboy secondary, or we could see a lopsided loss.

YAC is a reality for us now. That alone will open up scoring oppurtunities for us.
Lets not forget that Taylor Jacobs will be back in the fold for this game. We will definately be able to stretch the defense.
Im not a Brunell fan but he has shown zip on the ball that was lacking last season.

To be honest, I am not as worried about turnovers killing us on Monday Night.
What does worry me a little though is if the passing game is not in sync and we have to put too much pressure on our defense, and a rookie Kicker.

I always love prowling this board.
As a Cowboy fan my biggest worries are our special teams.
It's pretty sad when the kicker ends up being the special teams player of the game. If it wasn't for Cortez's two tackles Sproles would have easily scored, twice. Other problem is the time it's taking them to get down field, it's sad.
If we can keep Portis to under 100 yards we can win. Keeping LT to 70 was good but still penalties killed us, Julius could have easily gone over 100 yds if not for the call backs on holding or something else stupid.
Portis goes over 100 yds skins win. Less than 100 Cowboys win. No running game means your passing game is going to suffer.
Then again with our special teams you could be starting midfield most of the game with Burnells arm wouldnt take much to get downfield.
Now I was nice here so no flaming me. I'm coming over from
www.cowboysguide.com stop by and share some rational thinking no talking smack just good game talk.

Who isnt woried about their special teams?
Portis is going over 100 yards but im not sure that equals a win.
Our defense will be fine we just need to get some timely throws from Brunell to move the chains.
Im worried about our passing game.
Go Redskins!

OK my dress just took a back seat to our kicking game...rookie punter/kicker and holder

The rookie kicker is pretty good. I'm not sweating that. Now the returns I am. I'll be holding my breath for no injuries for those two.
