No one worry the skins will be on air on ABC at 9 o'clock just as usual. The Aint's and Gnat's are switching over to ESPN at 9.

In New York and Louisiana, as well as other parts of the Gulf Coast, ABC will continue to carry the Giants-Saints game, switching to Redskins-Cowboys when the Saints game ends.

Sadly I wish that was true. I am in New York.

I should have linked this yesterday.... my bad

The game will be shown by ABC and ESPN. For the first 90 minutes it will be broadcast nationally on ABC. At 9 p.m., ABC will switch nationally to its regularly scheduled Monday Night Football game - Washington at Dallas.

The Giants-Saints game will be seen in its entirety on ABC in New Orleans and New York. The rest of the nation will be able to watch the remainder of the game on ESPN. In New York and New Orleans, ABC will show the rest of the Washington-Dallas game after Giants-Saints.

You know, this actually works to the Redskins advantage. No one in NY is going to realize how good we are until we roll through the Meadowlands the day before Halloween.

i just received an email from my local ABC affiliate confirming that since i'm in the 'New York Region' (i live in maine), i will indeed be watching the saints-giants game to its bitter end with my arms folded, a bitter look on my face, muttering obcenities about ABC under my breath (i do have kids).

i replied to the station president in a calm, considerate manner, only questioning his lineage and sexual preferece for farm animals a few times each. :evil:

i am SO happy that i spend 200 smackers a year so i can catch all the skins games. :roll:

anyone have any suggestions as to how i can somehow catch the game?!?

Local bar or friend with NFL package.

Those "you know what" stations like Fox always stiff us when it comes to Wash. games.

Make a big announcement then BAMM, an NFC West game.

how could a bar carry the game when i can't? theoretically, they'd get the same ABC that i would at home, no?

if i'm so lucky to find a bar that carries the game, i guess i'll have to tough it out drinking beers withno wife or kids around. it'll be difficult, but i think i can do it.

some bars actually have a 'c-span'(i think that is the term, but i may be badly mistaken on the electronic lingo) satelite dish, instead of directv or local cable. they can actually get the live feed from abc on that certain setup if i'm not mistaken.

The game will be shown in my basement ... too bad you had to go and do what you did (12 bottles of bleach haven't helped)

good choice on the bleach. it's the only thing that hides blood stains.

Hey, just because you were involved in what the cops described as "unprecedented" and "horrific" and "neat in a weird way" doesn't mean you can't visit ... hell, we both know there ain't a damn thing worth taking ... just bring plastic sheets next time man
