Amazing how we only want to judge these guys "when he was healthy...."! This is the NFL and a lot of players get hurt (are not healthy!) from day 1. This is a fact of life and some play with it better than others.
I remember all the good things about S Davis too! But we conveniently want the healthy RB not the guy who was a prima donna and constantly saying I could have been better if I was healthy. I think we did not try and keep him partly because he did not like playing hurt. They all play hurt!
You mean Payton was never hurt? IMO Sanders stopped because it was not worth the pain. He had a fantastic career but some do it hurt better than others.
Coles is not here because he did not want to get that toe fixed the way our trainers thought he should. see ya!
