I agree we should make the playoffs. With the talent on this team that is a realistic goal. No pressure but Gibbs should get the skins into the post season.

I don't see an easy schedule. Don't forget, ..."on any given sunday..."
My wife is from Fayetteville, 666. Don't I have good taste ?
I'm glad everybody caught on to my imaginary Joe Gibbs game-day speech. This is how he made people feel in that locker room. Nobody is easy to beat at this level of football. The only thing between our Washington Redskins and the SuperBowl, year in and year out, are those pesky 16 games you have to show up and play in. All we need to do is win a majority of those, and we have as a good a chance as anyone.

Mezzskin, I served many of your very Bravest during the travesty of 9/11. Brooklyn has a special place in my heart. I have a story to tell you about that, but there must be a more appropriate place for it.
I can promise you that those days are not far away. Just don't look for Gibbs to brag on it. It won't happen like that. He'll have to get everybody on the same page first, and he's personally selected none of them so far.
666, I wear two hearing aides. I was turned down by every branch of the Armed Forces in 1985 to serve this great nation of ours. I'd gladly die for it, even now.
I met my wife on vacation at Myrtle Beach. She still looks good in a bikini ! :D

I AM old enough to remember 1981 onwards! I've been watching my old NFL Films videos of SB XVII and 1981-84. Next is "Hail to the Redskins" and highlights of SB XXII!

Those people who say Gibbs won't be able to manage the salary cap and numerous free agents don't know the man's capabilities. He won 3 SBs with 3 QBs and 3 RBs. He is a teacher and people manager and a great play designer. I've always thought we had the nucleus of a good team this year as it promised after the first 4 games. We just needed some good coaching.

Hey tcwest10 while I am in Maryland I work in Baltimore. I know how You feel with people razzing you about the Skin's, this past season all I heard was how bad We are and how great the Ravens are. When Gibbs was hired back though nobody wants to talk about football anymore hmmm. I can't wait until this fall when the Redskins fry up some Baltimore black crows.
