2005 Prediction

I am sure that everyone has noticed all of the "experts" saying the skins don't stand a chance of doing much better than they did last year. They even have the eagles as the "clear cut" winners of the division. As i recall, the skins were the only nfc team last year to really play with the eagles ( week 14 loss, 17-14). With an improved roster and a year of getting used to playing under the legend, Coach Gibbs, i say the skins will not only get into the playoffs this season, but they will be there as the nfc east champions.

They will be improved as I have said before, maybe 9-7 and hopefully have wildcard contention. But I somewhat agree that the Iggles won't be as "good" as last year and their window for winning a championship is basically closed.

as much as i hate to say it, the eagles are pretty much the clear cut winners of the division until one of the teams prove otherwise...hasn't happened in a few years now, no reason for anyone to think otherwise

if i had to choose a team that will be a huge dissapointment this year it has to be the patriots...they lost a lot of key players and probably more importantly two key coaches...i don't think they will be nearly as good next year as they have been

Sweeping the Cowboys and Giants, winning one against the Eagles, and never losing a home game all season. . .

. . .well, stranger things have happened, I suppose. ;)

We can so take the Broncos Punu! It's a game of meaning since we have Portis and they have Champ. Look for a hard fought game but another one in our win column.

That brings us to 13, Niki :D

Anyone else think that one of the L's on Punu's list deserves to be a 'W'? Three more and we can have a perfect season. . . ;)

Those games in Denver and the next week in KC will determine how good we are. We will likely lose one of the first 3( oh I hope it the seahawks, i can tolerate that one) If we get through Week 6 at 3-2 we have a quite favourable schedule the rest of the way, I still think 10-6, 11-5 wild card. as long as we are 4-0 in playoff I dont care what the record is when we get there.

8-8... sorry fellas... i'll be rooting hard every single game but 8-8 is about all they'll get THIS year... i want to see improvement in the offense. if we see that then next year could be special.

Yes... Finally Registered. Reading all boards, plus writing now. YESss

I wish for 10-6, but in the real world 8-8, 9-6 would be great, maybe a wildcard. Last season I thought we could hit 10-6, but massive failure 6-10 heartbreak games... Go 06 skins

We beat Tampa Bay in the opener last year. Not sure how he figures in a "L" this year. May have to swap that "W" for an "L" somewhere else. I think we have the talent and "D" to beat KC, but history says we always lose to them.

Realistically I think we will be 9-7. But if everything comes together we could go 12-4. Then again if everything falls apart we may only be 7-9.

But I actually believe this is a team who could win atleast a game in the playoffs.

We barely beat them last year at home. I don't think it's unrealistic at all to think they will beat us in their house. I'd LOVE to be proven wrong as I hate the Bucs more than any team in the league outside the NFC East, but that's my opinion.

This is the best post. I have ever seen on this site and I think it should be kept so that at the end of the year we can see how it did.

If you have not read this whole thing you dont know what you are missing

I agree with what JPM wrote. and there is no way we will take the 2 from dallas. Lets hope the eagles rest their starters in week 17 and we go 10-6. Then we will be talking divisional playoffs? or atlesat a 4 win improvment from 2004

I hope so, but realistically not a chance of blowing them out twice  .
