At this stage in their lives I'm fine with Joey T in the Booth and SOS walking the NCAA sidelines, versus Joey under center and Steve on our sidelines

Strangely, I think Aikman makes a fine announcer. I heard Dave Wannstedt doing the Z game on FOX one week, he was surprisingly good. I was okay with Joe Buck until he cried like a girl when he saw Moss pseudomoon the Packers fans.

The early 80s was my favourite era and it saddens me to hear other Redskins fans belittle his efforts and no little success.
come on now. i never 'belittled' his on the field performance. he wears one of those superbowl rings this team has. it's not about that.
as far as what he's done since.

he's not the most colorful, or even thoughtful analyst. as i said before, he ranks only second to none against other useless turds in the booth. i'd rather the entire world didn't judge joey for his booth performance, as he was indeed better on the field.

It's almost completely unpossible for him not to be, don't you think?

I aggree. I actually like Aikman as an announcer. Of course every time he does a 'Skins game the other guys in the booth always bring up the Arrington hit, and they usually show the video, so I like him even more for that reason.

spurrier may be great at the college level but i do have to agree with theismann's criticism.
