But don't overlook the fact that both of those guys were good at what they were paid to do. Freddie <who has a last name that should not be used because it coincides with that of an all-time great receiver and great Redskin> looks great, sounds great, but can't play.

I repeat: put him in uniform. Let him go all-out creative with his hair. Then have him walk the stands signing autographs. A fan morale booster.

what ever happened to guys like Bill "Spaceman" Lee or Mark "The Bird" Fydrich? (Both baseball pitchers well known for their crazy quotes and antics.

Joey Eischen (sp) for the Nationals is pretty good for those kind of quotes.
