If he does play I hope he plays well. If we all ridicule the guy what do think that will accomplish?

Gibbs made the choice. It’s too early to be criticizing the head coach. I’m hoping that Gibbs makes more good decisions then bad.

Absolutely right.

Mr Brunell is going to look really good, holding a clip board this season. But he is a pricey back up or maybe even #3 QB. Gosh signing him was a mistake

Brunnel has a very very reasonable salary for this year, he redid it to save us cap space. The thing that hurts us with him is his bonus.

With good protection, a good running game and guys getting open, he'll be a fine backup. Let's put it this way -- if he comes into the game, I'm rooting for him...

In his day, he was one of the top QBs. For those of you who will say, he isn't in his day -- well, either is Kurt Warner, Brett Favre, etc...

I dont even think he could be a 3rd qb with the cardinals, did you see him play last year he is terrible.

Do you have any idea how difficult it is to make the Hall of Fame?

The guy had like 4-5 good years. He has 0% chance. He won't even be considered.

He is awful at this point. This is Ramsey's job to lose but if we're out of playoff contention in November/December I think we'll see Jason Campbell, who is the QB of the Redskins future.

batman --

I saw him play last year and it was horrible, no question. BUT, also saw an offense that didn't click - at all. Losing Jansen in preseason and having a 40 year old RT replace him, having an average Center, having WR's that didn't get open didn't help. I think with our current line, Portis year 2, our new faster WR's, Cooley year 2, Gibbs and his ability to adapt-- we'll be much better. Brunnel will be okay as our backup. I know, that's hard to believe but I do think it's true.

Think about that.

I'm surprized you don't remember Ramsey throwing deep passes when Spurrier called for them. Maybe you don't remember because you were born yesterday, or just a dumbass.
crazyhorse, take the insults to smack. please and thank you.
