I have a very simple question about this type of logic! Why would we do that (take a QB in the lower round like Kyle Orton, Stefan LeFors) when our Head Coach likes what he sees in another QB? Where in the book of "How to run an NFL team" does it say that you select a QB based on the round of the draft that they either go or are expected to go. I thought what mattered was whether or not the Front Office (in this case the triumverate of Gibbs/Snyder/Cerrato liked the specific abilities and qualities of a specific QB as opposed to the round of the draft that he's in or expected to be in? Are the Redskins required to take a lower round QB in spite of the fact that they see something that they like in a higher round QB?
Oh JP, you just don't get it. Joe Gibbs didn't bother to read "The Guide To Having The Perfectest Draft Ever and 100 Ways To Get To The Front Of The Buffet Line" by Len Pastabelly and if he did he skipped chapter 2: "Why You Can't Ever Take A QB With The 25th Pick And Why Hitting Children Is Acceptable When The Last Slice Of Pizza Is At Stake."
