And didn't Jon Jansen say just the other day that the Skins were "Patrick's team"? I guess the players really aren't rallying around Ramsey... :roll:

The more I think about it, the less this move bothers me. You have to have 2 capable QBs in today's NFL. Brunell is not capable anymore of running this team, and he will be gone within 1 year from June 1st. Campbell will use this time to become the regular backup to Ramsey. Or, if Patrick still flounders this season, he will be ready to go next year, when he will be our only QB still on the roster. I think this was a smart move for the future. This is how you have to build your team in today's NFL. You can't just look at the next season if you want to sustain any kind of greatness. Joe wants to rebuild this franchise into the dynasty it once was. All this said, I think we overpaid. We could have traded down to the high second round, still gotten Campbell, and picked up draft picks, maybe even a 1st rounder for next year.

I couldn't agree with you more...
We will have to wait and see, but I also think this was a move to have two solid quarterbacks in position - not a replacement for the RAM.
