I don't think Gardner will be going anywhere. It's been like a month that the Skins have tried to trade him and no one seems to be interested. He's going to be our #2 or #3 WR next year. Hopefully 50/50 can upgrade to at least 75/50 or even better 85/50 !!! :)

hands o stone will be gone by the end of draft day one!

Pastabelly is talking about us trading Ramsey and picking up Cambell with one of the picks.

trade ramsey? how does this guy sleep at night? I mean does anything he says ever come true?

Now that we traded and got the 9th and the 25th picks in the first, What other rounds do we have picks in?

The "reports" and "predictions" from the media, etc. have all been so wrong that you have to wonder if they have any credence at all. This seems especially true about our team and I am convinced this is because a lot of these guys like to make stuff up because we have been an easy target and are obviously one of the most "visible" teams in pro sports.

Earlier it was "reported" that we were looking to trade the #9 but when Vinny and the team tried to clarify what may happen these bozos and overweight retards all had their own interpretation of what Vinny meant (and they all consider him a low life anyway). Now that the team has shown that what Vinny said is correct they start to make other "stuff" up - I cannot wait to see how wrong these guys are this w/e.

I think that Joe and the rest of the FO have an idea of what they are trying to do and while it is fun to speculate about it - please lets use our own people here at Hogs.net as our "sources". I have more faith in their opinions than any of these outside people who all seem to have a divisive agenda when it comes to the Redskins.

Let's worry about what may occur next year and what draft choices we may or may not have in 2006 or 2007 next offseason. Right now a potential #1 in the 2006 draft is of absolutely no consequence.

I find it very difficult to believe that Joe Gibbs went, in the span of less than one off season, from being a coach who loathes the idea of playing a rookie QB to one who is ready to trade a starter for a QB who has never taken a snap in the NFL.
I do not think this new first round pick necessarily augurs well for Ramsey's future (and that pick could very easily be used on a wideout) but I would be stunned if Ramsey is not the starter next year.

Why is everyone so ready to believe the media on pre-draft hype? Geez, I though everyone knew that you don't believe this B.S. a few days before the draft. You guys are acting like its time to lay flowers on Ramseys grave. Duh, IT IS PRE-DRAFT HYPE! Last time I checked we hadn't picked anyone yet. As for Ramsey, he isn't any Peyton Manning. He has to get up every day, put his uniform on and go EARN his job. If he can't beat out a rookie from Auburn then he deserves to sit the bench. All that said, I believe this is just the annual pre-draft smokescreen. If Gibbs really wanted Campbell I doubt you'd be reading about it in this mornings newspaper!

I'm going to have to agree completely here.

I just need to ask this question... does anyone else think Cerrato is a total moron?

Does anyone sense the tension between the Redskins and Washington Post.

At the end of every Redskins article they throw in a paragraph about something bad (read the last few articles).

I forsee future articles like:

"The Redskins beat the Cowboys 42-3, Clinton Portis ran for 180 yards and Ramsey threw for 400 yards...but the Redskins lost control of disgruntled WR Laverneus Coles and Rod Gardner and had to trade them. Not to mention Lavar Arrington is missing $6.5 million, and there are seats in the stadium that are obstructed.
Sources also say that Redskin uniforms are made by 10 year olds at sweatshops in the Phillipines." -Staff writer Mark Maske also contributed to this report

Fleetus: Just out of curiosity, where, in this thread, do you see anyone either giving Ramsey his last rights or buying into what you've correctly described as overblown pre-draft hype?

Fleetus: Never mind, just saw the "Trade Ramsey" thread ... sigh

I definitely agree with you, oafusp. LaConfora & Maske have axes to grind.
