sorry... but the song has nothing to do with football, or aggression or anything remotely close to getting someone fired up....

just because they say "comin for that #1 spot" doesn't mean it makes a good soundtrack to a higlight video... I'm sure I can find a Wiggles or Barney song talking about being #1... but it wouldn't make a good highlight song either....

I just looked at it again!!! Lavar was hardly in the video!! I completely forgot he was on the team!! This defense is going to be incredible next year!!! Lavar is coming back, a good DE, Bowen....man...!!!!!

Luva, I'm full of it man - the Taylor video didn't play. Just watched it all the way through - great stuff - probably the best clips I've seen on the computer - ever.

I agree that it has nothing to do about football but as far as the agressive or fired up comments, I disagree. I don't know what genres you favor but in the hiphop clubs thats a pretty "crunk" song. Its not the most pumped up hip hop song, but its still hawt. It pumps me up.

You can't please everyone. I think the same thing you're saying when some rock songs are background music.

However, I think the chorus fits in very well.

I like everything brother... everything from Pantera to The Roots, Metallica to Mos Def... etc etc.. you probably can't find a genre I don't like..

but you're right... you can't please everyone I guess...

.... I think I still could have found something hip-hop wise that was better...

I aplogize, I wasn't tryin to stereotype you at all. I just wasn't sure if u hated rap music and was just whining that it was on there.

I love all types of music. Find another inner city youth that has a Frank Sinatra cd!!! lol.

I agree that a lil Jon song would have been been better for the hype factor! A rock song would have been hawt for the guitar!! Thats the main reason I took up guitar. Rock music drew me in, jazz kept my interest.

I'll stop before this gets too far off topic. :twisted:

I will say this, that on the highlight when Sean Taylor nails that Cowboys receiver out of bounds, right as he hits him some guy in the song goes "yeah!" just at that time. I've seen better songs linked to video highlights, but this one wasn't bad.

As for the highlight video itself. . .it gives me shivers, man. I can't wait for next season.

I wish had some video/audio editing software so I can rip this song off and put this song by a group called trillville. Trust me, it'd have your granma ready to knock someones head off!! LOL.

That video has me sooo freaking pumped up right now!!! I can't wait to go out and play football on the 1st of April!!! Shawn Springs is a monster and Im glad he wore #24, that helped us completely forget about CHump Bailey! Whoever steps in for Smoot needs to wear #21.

I was just glad that Smoot wore 21 in the first place so that we could forget about Deion!

But that would be cool if we just had each new corner come in wearing either 24 or 21. Kind of the feel that you get with a 'no name' defense that works hard together.
