The next time they play us....they'll steam roll us. You think the Skins can stop the Patriots? We all wish we can but in the near future...it does NOT look possible. (Now, am I a Patriots fan?...ummmm no. But I'm just stating the obvious.)
How do you think we will do when teams who beat us get beaten by them.
We beat them once....before their engines were even heating up. You expect us to beat them when they're beating teams like the Eagles and Steelers? (let me remind you....they actually went to the playoffs while we were already in the offseason)
I have to forgive you for posting your previous post. I see that you have tried out a new drug on the market and are facing the effects of it. I know these offseason adjustments are getting on my nerves....but drugs/alcohol should not be the answer. Just ask JGibbs!
Oh yeah...by the way....I'm pretty sure the Patriots have a trophy in their building with the year "2005" engraved.
I'll believe it when I see it. I ain't seen it in a while, and those WERE SB teams we were playing, too !
We're in their heads, baby. They can't beat us.
After all, how could a true Patriot beat on the Nation's Capitol ?
Hey...that sounded like a personal attack.
Back off, bubba. I'm not dissing your Patriots. Just stating the facts.

Allright....we'll see when we do play them. They're not on our schedule so I'm assuming that you think we will be in the superbowl this year and we'll beat them.
I don't make assumptions, kiddo. I based what I've written on this topic on cold, hard facts. I'll leave it to you to look up the individual games, unless you really take me to task. You can't honestly believe that we were "better" than the Pats the last time we beat them, but we did anyway. It was only after our game that they began that remarkable streak...and I happen to believe that, if we were on the schedule against them in between then and the time it ended, it would've ended a lot sooner than it did. Do you think that that view is "drug-induced" ? We do the same thing to the Lions, almost without exception. We DO have a few teams' number.
Want to know what rows my boat ? Having both oars in the water.
I find it works best that way. I'd recommend it to anyone.

PRamsey is good but you cannot compare the two. There's no way you can compare a superbowl MVP to a player who hasn't even made the probowl yet. Of course no name recievers can become stars....they can become stars when your franchise player is your QB. In Washington, there is no way Ramsey is our franchise player. Of course we can use the Patriots as an example of a "dream" team but in reality we are nowhere close to the Patriots.
I actually see a whole lot of Brady in Ramsey. I also believe that Joe Gibbs is a better coach than Belicheck when it comes to offenses and bringing the potential out of a QB.
I also think our team is very similar to the patriots. Our defense is on par with theirs. I fully expect the Skins to compete for the superbowl within the next two years. Imagine our current defense going together with an offense that averages 24 points a game. Do you think we could compete with the Patriots then, or any other team? I definitely do, and I see our offense getting to that point by the end of next season.

I also see some Brady in Ramsey but he is very far away from becoming a Brady.
Yeah, it is way too early to panic. I think some Skins fans are just too used to Snyder rushing in with a wad of cash every year and buying some "band-aids" for our problems. Look at the Patriots, Bellichik is the Gibbs of this era. They build around character not 40 times. Just give Gibbs a season or two to establish who the warriors are and mold the system around them. It think last season was the first step and we found out that guys like Cornelius Griffin, Antonio Pierce (who will resign as a Skin), Shawn Springs, Brandon Noble, Sean Taylor, Chris ey, Portis and Samuels are the kinds of Warriors to build around. Coles has stood up and declared that he is not!!! So we'll deal him away as best we can, draft or sign a replacement, develop Taylor Jacobs and D. McCants and MOVE ON!!! What's the big deal, that is life in the NFL?

I don't need to look at the individual games. Just compare their season record to ours. That's all that matters.....not the history between the teams. Are you telling me that the "world champions" will lose to us?
Oh wait....sure they'll lose. Brady won't even play....why waste his time. Right?
