It seems to mee that, as Boss observed, the Coles Corporation wants to break the contract. Coles wants out. He signed a contract to give his all-out effort to the Redskins in return for the money.

Now he wants to break the contract. The Redskins own his time. If Coles wants it back, then he has to give the Redskins something that the team feels compensates them.

That's business.

I would consider something both less and more drastic than Boss. Rather than let him run back kicks behind the Redskinettes, put him back in the game, batting first as always. If he dogs it, then he has broken his contract just as much as Ricky Williams broke his contract with the Dolphins. And let the lawyers play their game.
